You do realize that by fabricating two town roles, scum basically guarantess loss. If at any point, someone can refute the roleclaims, or finds out the role of the one of the two "scum" in question, then the mafia has screwed itself over, and it would be nearly impossible to come back from that. If you think I would take that risk and maybe get a turn or two out of it then go ahead and lynch me, but waiting will give you far more beneficial information than not waiting

And sc you do raise a good point about if you were to claim a supposed fellow mafiate buddy as town aligned and he goes "Gee yup he's right" it will be bad for you if you are scum and one of you gets found out. However at the same time you could just as easily tomorrow say, "Sorry my investigation got blocked on Person Y" and Person Y ends up being town aligned to the best of your knowledge. Even if you didn't do that though you could always later just say "Gee I guess I am a broken PO, sorry!" if the other guy turned up as scum. There's just too many ways out of it.

At this point it's fairly simple on your lynching. If you turn up scum, anyone who backed you up suspiciously may very well be scum as well. If you turn up innocent we can always go after Ecurt for lying. This way we'll actually have a lead and gameplan to follow. As Cati said, logic demands you die and it would be foolish of us not to follow some sort of a lead especially on Day 1.

Sorry, SC, but, as everyone said, we cannot afford to let you live, even though Ecurt's claim is very shaky as is. It's really the only thing we have to go on, at this point. Besides, we can always deal with Ecurt on the next day, if he is indeed wrong.
