(the face is made up entirely of dots, and the shirt and hair are made up of lines only)

Yeah stipling is hard. I'm proud of you jessa. I'd have broken down into hatching about 1/8 of the way through.

Heheh. Thanks everyone. ^^; I've been working hard on it during art every day.
It's not done yet, I still have to finish the hair and the shirt, and I don't know if the skin will be made any lighter than it is.... who knows.

Yeah... the picture makes me reconsider not going into art for college. >_<

The only piece of constructive criticism that I feel ever remotely brave enough to submit is that you might want to build up the shading around the eyebrows, or indeed the eyebrows themselves.

It is my general interpretation of the piece (I may be blind) that they are a little too light, to the point where I cannot see them unless I look really hard, giving your portrait an ... un-natural quality.

Otherwise, awe is what I am feeling, feeling it cause I'm in awe.
