The only MOBA I've played* is Smite, but I'm too afraid to go out of the kiddy pool. If NPFers play DOTA2, I could get in, but only in the same way I play L4D2, i.e. with you :3

Default I kind of assume the LoL devs are assholes.
I was going through the DotA media threads over at Facepunch and came across screenshots of conversation between some LoL player and Riot Games staff or something. I can't seem to find it [quickly, at any rate], as I'd love to have the actual lines. But as I recall it a player basically got banned for not picking the champion he was "supposed" to pick, complete with the Riot staff person coming off as having an attitude about it.


edit: Also LoL doesn't have last-hitting or gold for kills, if I recall. And throws invisible-grass all over the place. And you have to pay for champions.

Aka, we shall play BOT GAMES! Because I get bored easily and real people games scare me. Also screwing around with the bots can be hilarious.

Dragging more people into it wouldn't hurt either.

Default Bots make me think I can solo mid.
I am always down for killing bots. They don't care if I play a hero I don't understand!

They do kind of suck mid-late game, but meh. It's all fun.
