Awww! Poor Black Mage! As impossible as it may seem, the others actually hurt his feelings instead of pissing him off! Though I'm sure rage is boiling somewhere, saddness and a feeling of being left out have taken priority (The question is for how long though?)! I know he's usually the butt-end of many mean jokes, but this is just a little too far methinks! Sure he probably deserves some of it but...oi...I'm not sure if I should think this is funny or if I should feel sympathetic.

Of course, once he does class change, I'm sure he'll deny any feeling of previous jealously. Naturally someone will constantly provoke him to the point of rampant stabbing and explicit display of his new power...that person will probably be Fighter...if not him, Red Mage.

Now I'm off to ponder: Is this one funny, sad, or a little of both.

I think this will be a turning point for BM in how he "relates" to the other LWs. From the perspective of a ruthless philosophy such as his, he's been getting too close to these people, and now he's been hurt because he's left out. This just goes to show that friendship always is painfull, and the only reason to associate with another person is to exploit them for your own gain. He's forgotten this vital point, but this might bring him back to understanding, thus I again expect to see some very ruthless manipulation (blundered by the even more powerful blundering of BM*) and/or great revenge tactics as stated before.

And before the thought occurs, I don't agree with that philosophy, but it seems to be the one BM runs off of.
