Oh, I'm not dead, I just lie sleeping.

More to the point, a little busy with assignment-ness at present. That and mildly nonplussed at people's continued attempts to kill a rock. I do find it quite amusing that everyone missed Lumaes' line about how "the second is building up momentum". He asked me what would be suitable for an entry post. Of course, as a pointed aside to him, I do need that character profile put up soon.

And seeing how I have just allowed a new player in, it would be wildly inconsistent of me to say no to you Hawk. And I'm nothing if not contradictory. Put up a profile and we'll see.

ok thanks Arhra, this is what ive got so far:

Name: Hawk

Appearance: He's a hawk (obviously), small and brown feathered and generally hawk-like.

Weapons/Items: Razor sharp talons

Special Abilities: Hawk depends on his control over the wind and the air for pretty much all of his abilities (other than the aformentioned talons), which are used in the following ways:

Hawkwind Blast: (Basic attack) by drawing forth the power of the wind, Hawk can create concussive blasts of air which can be fired at foes, knocking enemies from their feet or even causing all kinds of blunt force trauma. The impact is rougthly equivilant to that of a cannonball.

Elemental shot: A newly aquired ability, Hawk can use his basic Blast attacks to condense other nearby elements into the Blasts; eg; compacting snow and water into ice or water balls, assimilating fire into the oxygen-rich spheres for fireball like attacks, crushing sand and dirt into hardened balls of earth (or "shots", hence the name). These shots are carried along with the Blasts when fired.

Hawkwind Gale: Rather than focus the power in a single shot, this attack creates a strong wind that can stop most foes in their tracks and even send them hurtling backwards. This attack takes more concentration and takes around 5 seconds to really get going though.

Hawkwind Rush: By channeling the power of the wind beneath his wings, Hawk can propel himself forward at great speeds, outrunning the wind itself. Used mostly to evade and retreat from enemies.

Hawkwind Hurricane: (Special attack) Using the Hawkwind Rush ability, Hawk can fly around enemies at great speed, causing miniture tornados to form, entraping foes and lifting them into the air, spinning them around many times, before scattering them them far and wide. However it takes several seconds to fully power up this attack, depending on the size of the area in question. In this time the likelyhood that Hawk could be hit by an attack (barring explosions or something similar) is highly unlikey due to him having to fly at full speed to achive the hurricane effect. Naturally this drains his energy considerably and so cannot be used often.

Increased senses: As a hawk, Hawk enjoys the benefits of increased eyesight (including exalent night-vision) and incredible hearing.

Extra: Hawk doesn't communicate verbaly, what with him not having the neccesary vocal cords to do so, but instead communicates through short range telepathy. It unfortunately can only be used to speak with other people who would of been in hearing range anyway.

Name: Luma-es

Appearance:
Luma-es is a strange concoction of a creature. Obviously taking many style tips from the Grim Reaper himself, Luma-es is a cowled creature wrapped in inky shadows, which, like real shadows disappear almost completely in direct light. The ‘barely there’ composition of his body is contrasted severely by the very real and vaguely frightening hands and face. Luma-es’s head (for want of a better word) seems to be a faintly curved ivory disc on which is always emblazoned with some extreme expression reflecting his disastrously tenacious Perk. His skeletal hands almost seem carved with each bony joint marked with its own sigil. Hanging halfway between the face and the floor there is always a large, nutritious looking, acorn which can be seen clearly even when his body is at its darkest.
Do not question the Acorn.

Weapons:
Luma-es relies largely on his Witty Vernacular to bring down his opponents in a blinding display of scalding commentary.

Items:
Despite his lack of general corporeality Luma-es has the inexplicable ability to produce a limitless number of useless, largely thematic, objects which have the uncanny ability to vanish if not closely watched.

Special Abilities:

The Future is Now:
In times of indecision Luma-es is capable of causing one, or both, of his hands to fall apart for him to read the knuckle bones in a display of primitive superstition.

Eats, Shoots and Leaves:
By stubbornly refusing to see the distinction between fiction and reality Luma-es is fully capable of exploiting word-plays, puns and pseudo-logic to influence the progression of events.

Placed In A Box With Mystery Printed On The Lid:
Luma-es is a riddle and, like all riddles, wont go away until you can figure out just how he manages to bully his way into existence.

Hey, just because we took a weed-whacker to common decency, morality, and justice (splattering them all over the proverbial walls) is no reason to criticize this RP. It needs to be loved and nurtured, so that it can become a happy healthy functioning member of society.

We need to stop corrupting this RP, and instead nurture it as one would a child.
