Don't just throw away your vote, someone has to get lynched, and we need a majority, so you might as well join us and vote bookworm.

Why Bookworm, though? I mean, other than the fact that he voted fifthfiend based on his reputation (which I actually don't know anything about... could be entirely justified on Bookworm's part for all I know).

As far as needing to lynch someone, couldn't we all just vote for no lynching? I'm not going to, it's probably like trying to vote for an independent in a presidential election... I just don't see any reason to vote someone right now other than for the sake of lynching someone for its own sake. But what the hell do I know?

The problem with voting no-lynch, is that it dosen't get us anywhere. The only difference between today, and the next day will be that there's one less player.

Fair enough, but don't we risk knocking out someone important to us townies if we vote blind? It just seems like there's a bigger risk of having two less townies tomorrow instead of one less townie and one less mafia. Or we hit the PO or someone.

Guess risk is just what it's all about, huh?

Correct. We have a 1/4 chance of hitting a mafia, 1/4 of hitting a special role(Assuming there's a vigilante, we're not sure because CC never told us. If that's the case, it's 1/6), and a 1/2 chance of hitting a townie. So this is hte way i see it, we just lynch somebody, anybody, then we look for clues in the death post or go over old posts to see who would want them dead.

And since everybody else is voting for him...

VOTE: Mr. Bookworm

My working theory, put into greater detail, is that I am generally known as a bit of a bastard on this board and my presence in these games is certainly an unusual one, which is exactly why a Mafia Capo and Master Manipulator such like Mister Bookworm might well say to himself "a-ha, it should be a simple matter to gin up an early vote against fifthfiend based on public sentiment, distracting people from the true nefarious actors such as myself, while at the same time cleverly insinuating me into a position at the forefront of the mob, well-placed to direct its future activities to the benefit of myself and my fellow Mafia-ators."

It looks good on paper, anyway.

Yes. Yes, it does.

Roleclaim: Townie

Plain ol' Vanilla Townie.

EDIT: And I can't really back this up, I know. But trust me, I'm a Vanilla townie.
And "a bit of a bastard" is "a bit" of an understatement. Yes, I'm joking. I came here right when the whole "fifthfiend is a meglomaniac bastard" thing got started, so I'm a bit more exposed to it. Or something like that. You know what? Just... ignore this.
If the PO wants to investigate me tonight, they can go right ahead.

Because, that's even worse than Mr. Bookworm's reason for voting for anything.
