Animorphs for sure, Wayside too (my grade 5 teacher used to read them to us). There were those Mr. Men short stories, those were always a favourite of mine. Oh! And the Choose Your Own Adventure books, I always liked those.

I'm surprised the Redwall series was mentioned, it is great.
Can't forget the Ender's Game series though, best sci-fi ever.

Buddha Fett will become famous soon enough. Eventually. Maybe.

I've read Redwall and Discworld since I was, what, 8?

I'm honestly surprised to see so many people enjoy Redwall; everyone I know in my town hates them, and reading in general.

And lightning. Does anyone remember that?

You mean Magic Tree House, right? My brother read those

I read Treasure Island when I was about 7 or 8...and not the kids version but the old English one

Also I loved the Animorphs and I have every single book...I hated the ending though I mean what the hell, right?

And well I read a lot as a kid...can't think of more stuff right now but there's a lot of it out there

My first book was 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea by Jules Verne. I don't know how was I able to read it completely when I was seven years old. Nowadays I would get bored after the second page.

Harry Potter also counts, I guess. However, I also grew up reading The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion being my favourite in that universe.

I was a pretty weird child when it came to reading choices.

I remember reading that book. There was also a sequel, told from the perspective of the Bully character that was very good.
