All Melissas I've ever known are bitches. And that's, like...ten. Well, would you believe that while our names are given to us at birth, it's believed that people with the same name act quite alike. Not to mention people can usually guess someone's name just by their appearance, since names also affect appearance or something.

I don't know if this counts as stuff like being attracted to people of a certain name or whatever, but my brothers and I have this weird curse it seems.

Appearantly, we are only destined to be with people who have the same first letter in our first name. Observe:

My oldest brother: Robert, He married Rebecca. (their nicknames are Bob and Becky...)
Second Brother: His name is Timothy and he's currently going out with a girl named Tasha.
Me: My name is Jenessa (A mixture of Jessica and Vanessa! heh), my first boyfriend's (and he was my best friend for about 3 or 4 years... ^^;; ) name was Josh.

Weird, eh? Or maybe just a coincidence. ^^ heh.

I once dated a guy named Ari, and my name happens to be Ariella (my nickname is Ari). Also, all of the guys I've dated except for one have all had their names begin with A. Ari, Aaron, Adam...

I find girls called Natalie irresistible. actually I think I'm one of the weirder people here... I can fall in love with someone on their name alone.

Quotes of roses and Shakespeare aside, I am fascinated by the study of names. I wonder if there's an official science for it. If there is, I'd go for it.

Not quite true, being just based on names... Because since my name is a mixture, you would have to consider the hotness/unhotness of the Vanessa part of it too.

And along with the curse that my brothers and I have, my parents names rhyme. (not the same first letter though) I'm glad they didn't decide to name all of us rhyming names...
