I'd watch it. It's still a better concept than about 99% of other "horror" movies.

The trailers from Grindhouse are still some of the best, though, with Machete topping the list.

A Zelda movie could work if you like, redesigned all the characters and introduced more of a plot than "visiting elemental temples", and the main character didn't really solve any puzzles. I.e. it wouldn't be a Zelda movie.

There's actually many deterministic themes in the story, as well as all the elements of the epic. If someone tried, they could actually make a movie out of it.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. In a Zelda movie, Link better solve some damned puzzles! Like, maybe an Indiana Jones style temple with some puzzles and more action, but still.

It ain't Zelda without puzzles.

Isn't that Tom (batshit insane) Cruise though?

Edit: I could see Tom Cruise pulling off Phoenix with the huge pointing finger and jumping up and down in the court room over-dramatically. Wouldn't be too much of a stretch.
