One potential problem I want to point out is that I foresee their being major problems in telling the characters from each other. They all look the same, and the most unique thing I've seen any do to differentiate themselves from the others is the whole technology thing. I don't know if you intend to use the job class to help with this, but I'd recommend having them change to a class and not changing from that class unless they all change at once, a la 8-Bit. Otherwise, the characters aren't going to stand out visually, and any standing out they do storywise will be crippled by the fact that you can't tell who's who.
This is not to say that your comic is bad. It got several laughs from me, I'm just pointing out a potential problem.

So yeah, I rather liked that last one. Just looking over it, there was a lot of text, but reading it, it didn't feel like a lot at all. So yeah, good work and stuff.

To wit, FF3j only had the palettes of [red, flesh, white], [blue, yellow, brown], and [lime, flesh, rust] in battle, where overworld sprites had a separate palette for the head and body that had a much broader selection of three-color options each.
