Iron Maiden and Santana are seriously the only ones of those I'm sure I've even heard of. Do I win the too old prize?

I only recognise 3, and of them I only like Maiden. I just got back from Download though, Which had a much more awesome lineup.

Seil, there were so many BETTER choices for Great Big Sea. That's like, their most overplayed song.
When I'm up Ordinary Day Sea of No Cares See these are good songs by Great Big Sea. Yes they also all sound very similar. It's because GBS is not a particularly original band, but a very, VERY Happy one. |

It's not an "old" thing, IMO. I mean, I'm not even eighteen yet and I don't recognize most of these.

gotta disagree with the hardcore statement, hardcore shows are way worse inside in a cramped venue. At least outside theres air. Ive literally had to wring out my jeans from sweat after a have heart show in an overly packed bar and i wasnt even slamming/moshing/surfing that much. But then again thats half the fun.

Weezer actually does rather well. Alternative rock but a good band regardless.
