I was kind of shocked at the industrial look of the show ... it was like being away from home for a long time and suddenly there are skyscrapers in my neighborhood?!
But I am really happy. This is really amazing looking and it looks like it will more than make up for the movie.

I want this to be the same response from everyone's mouth when asked about that movie.

"The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra"?
Look, trailer. You were freaking amazing and all, but I don't think I need to tell you why that makes no sense. |

Also, mentions of Chi-Blockers has me hoping that Ty Lee has some involvement in the baddies group.

So we are clear
|
where did you hear this? So Korra is technically getting airbending training from her cousin? Well third cousin.
Cause thanks to a certain movie they can never use Avatar again Quote:
Also seems like they aren't being as black and white as before. Sure I wasn't the only one watching the series and wondering why non-benders didn't feel abit under appreciated. If bending was genetic you'd probably have a ruling class of them. Still as we saw normal people cant really fight a master bender and until the time of this series they were reliant on benders for alot of things. Now they dont need benders to move vehicles or open gates, now benders are more like walking weapons.

I've got to say, not at all a fan of the city look.
It ended up looking incredibly generic and standard-Anime-backdrop, instead of Avatar-like.

Fate Averted

If left to their own, I bet a ruling class would have happened. Thankfully, there's been an Avatar around all the time, keeping that whole peace and harmony thing on the go. As is Korra's job this time around, of course. (I guess the hundred-odd years of Aang buggering off wasn't enough for that sort of bigotry to emerge yet.)

I was more thrown off by what the city folk are wearing, namely the suits and modern-ish hats, while Korra still looks like she came out of the original series. Quote:
