I'm with Smarty on this. Never saw the appeal of Back to the Future.

I still like the first film, but only just. 2 & 3 just can't hold my interest. (Not to say I'm a young fart, I just think I lost my nostalgia glasses at some point.)

All y'alls who enjoyed Back to the Future just secretly are indulging your Oedipal complexes in which you perversely wish you could time-travel back to the moment your mom was a ridiculously hot young woman, and she'd totally have a crush on you and attempt to sleep with you.
MYSTERY SOLVED ...oh wait shit I actually enjoyed Back to the Future NEVERMIND

Solution to all the problems, really
Clearly the only solution this problem is for Smarty and Fifth to engage in mortal combat.

emilio estevez stars as ronald reagan in "why yes, your childhood was the best!"
It's a good film, and Crispin Glover was my first celebrity crush.
Unfortunately, the time of its release means it has to be used as pornographic material in the insufferable ongoing 1980s nostalgia circle jerk. I'm surprised that despite all the people who insist upon granting Footloose cultural significance, theaters didn't have any problem with public masturbation during showings of The Iron Lady. I just had this brilliant argument to use against everyone who loved Back to the Future, particularly because I was totally like "Let's stick it to Fifthfiend, Fifthfiend deserves a good thrashing." ...But then I remembered I actually liked Back to the Future.
