My only problem is, why DIDN'T they get Pixar in on this? It's suspicious. Like, Disney made Chicken Little presumably because Pixar had the good sense not to be involved.

EDIT: I mean. I guess I'm still not sure how Pixar and Disney's relationship works anymore. Like, Pixar is technically involved because they own Disney or something?

Conversely, Disney made Tangled all by themselves and it turned out pretty good, whereas they worked together with Pixar to make Cars 2 which was a gigantic pile of shit.

Like basically Disney is still making animated movies, but apparently no one wants to see classic, hand-drawn 2D animation anymore according to studio executives so they are also a major CG animation studio in their own right.

They are separate, autonomous companies with Pixar happy to accept large sums of money from Disney on occasion.

The zombie doesn't look like any old zombie, it looks like one of those axe zombies from one of the House of the Dead games. That may just be a random, unfounded guess though.

I am at least slightly interested in this movie, with my expectations being tempered based on it being a movie about video games.

I think I saw this best described as a sort of Who Framed Roger Rabbit for video games, at least from the crossover aspect. Probably not that class of quality, but the same sort of concept at least.
