The show was actually written in small 'arcs' by multiple writers. The shows directior wrote the first 5 episodes I believe (the beginning leading to when Gau dies follwed by another writer who wrote 2 or 3 episodes followed by another who wrote 2 or 3 episodes, etc. And I think the guy who wrote the first 5 episodes also wrote the last few episodes. Although I can't remember who wrote the episodes, they're all suppose to be famous Anime writers who wrote episodes for other shows like Escaflowne, Gundam, etc.
That's why it can't happen again. They'd have to get a bunch of writers back together again, after the show has been off their air already 7+ years (the show was 1997-1998 and the movie was 2000).

Why did you not contact me sooner?!
Muhuhuhuhahahahaha! Martian Succesor Nadesico, a anime involving, giant robots, beautiful women, a funny cartoon called Gekigengar III, romance, mystery, weird scientist/mechanic guys, "Aliens" (Jovian Lizards), and the typical inexperienced crew piloting the most powerful ship of its kind. Yes, I have seen it all, including the two movies. If you have any questions or need counsel concerning it, ask me, the Flare Knight. :fighter:

I edited your post, Ken. Next time if you're gonna put a spoiler in, perhaps use the black color I used, or at least put more than 5 charatcers of space between the warning and the actual spoiler, since anyone with an ounce of peripheral vision would have seen that.

There's 2 movies? Is there some OVA I don't know about? Cuz I KNOW there's no second movie (they only made 1 at great expense and it took 2 years to do).

The Gekigangar thing is an OVA, 3 episodes I believe. Not a movie. It was never shown in theaters and was split up into 3 episodes I believe.
