I'm glad I stuck with Erin speaking some German. I don't think the original way I had it was a very good idea (with her speaking full German), because it was too much, but I think an occasional word here and there is fine. Besides, it helps separate her from Ith a little more.

I think I wrote about two or three paragraphs about that single word and some alternatives. Cause that's how I roll.
People, you don't wanna know how long my notes to Matt were when Erin had some more dialogue. (Actually it was probably less) Erin/Ith is/are becoming my favorite character/s, probably.

Curses are a science man, there's no exact translation for any given curse, no no. Research needs to be done, an equivalent must be found, my mother must be asked, then I have to try to convey the complex nuances of German curses by using English words. My toughest challenge yet was to translate Mother Fucker, I did not find anything that satisfied me 100%. But I think that line got changed to something that has a pretty apparent translation. Still, it is my dream to find the perfect equivalent to Motherfucker in German. Hell, maybe now someone will reply to this post with the painfully obvious word I was looking for.

I think we were going to have Erin say the equivalent of "Mother Fucker" where she says "Grundgutiger" weren't we?
Then I mentioned the "Gott im himmel" (?) and then you came up with grundgutiger as an alternative.
