Not really, the Filler arc is coming to a close. By February we should already have this fight since this is pretty much where canon story stopped.

I don't know what crazy backwards land you come from but where I'm from a month is a long time. It'll probably be significantly closer to 2 months. I mean we've got till the 26th of January with the current arc then we've got a whole chapter of manga to get through before the fight. That's like 9 issues and if they want to keep there current pacing of about 1.5 issues per episode that's 6 more episode before we get there. That's assuming no breaks in there which puts us in like the 3rd week of March for the fight. The second week of march being the lead up cliff hanger and 6th episode. I mean they could speed it up but they could also take weeks off here and there I could never really get a handle on the crazy schedule. I'm certainly not expecting it till about March just on terms of not overshooting the written material. Plus 2 months out seems about right in terms of quality animation.

Well, Aizens ability is to make people see what he wants them to and control their senses, so it's actually very possible that he is currently in shikai/bankai and that he is making it appear that he is using his normal sword to make him seem all powerful and/or keep his enemies using Shikai, seeing as the characters normally have a tendency of using their stronger powers only when their enemy does.

Ichigo is pretty weak if he's not in his crazy hollow form and the fact that he doesn't have as much experience as the captains is a big problem, too.

Edit: Also, Kyoraku and Ukitake didn't show their bankais yet. Also, Unohana.

This is a bit of a pickle actually. Chapter 385, pages 6 then 7 Shinji says "Fall Sakanade" which as we all know is him activating his Shikai. But then in Chapter 387, page 4, the narrative text says "What is Hirako's Bankai?" even though it never shows him activating his Bankai. So I think the latter is just a translation error and that Bells was right in that Shinji has only used his Shikai.

Oh and I'm too lazy to get pictures so you can all just use your non-copyright-infringing manga viewing methods of your choice to verify this.

Well, I believe it wouldn't make much sense to go fight Aizen, the strongest guy on the place without at least bankai, but then again he didn't use his mask either so I dunno.
