Can you please share what those statements were? I am sure I'll be furious and would normally just take your word for it and move on but I'd like some counterpoints to those thinking of voting for her

If that article is everything she said about vaccines, then I'm not sure why she's being considered anti-vax? She doesn't even reference Autism in there.

At most she says that the people regulating vaccines (and medicine in general) should not be people who have a financial interest in those vaccines. Other than that she is very positive towards vaccines.

They are still luddites by my standards. I've already been forced to accept no one is pushing forward with nuclear power, but I'm not going to support going backwards with them. The idea of replacing nuclear plants with solar is absurd. The peak power of the largest solar farm in the US produces 14 megawatts as its peak output. The smallest nuclear plant produces 479. Meaning just to replace the lowest output plant would require us to build 34 of the largest solar farms in the country. The largest produces well over 3,900 megawatts.

Abit more number crunching, at about half a million per acre, and the Nellis plant taking 140 to produce 14 megawatts. So that means it will take abit over 1 trillion dollars to replace the smallest nuclear power plant with solar farms.

Sorry I know its abit off topic but its one of my personal major political issues.

Since it was a passing mention I wasn't too worried about autism in and of itself but the whole thing sounds like a very technophobic mindset and poor understanding of autism. Autism rates shot up, but they shot up about the time we started getting reasonable tests and properly defined it. There is no sign its ever increased because its only been about 20 years we bothered to really look into it

Oddly, IIRC countries with legal prostitution appear to have higher rates of sex trafficking. However, they don't really- it's just that the police are actually bothering to bust sex trafficking in those countries, aided by the fact that trafficked people can go to the police without fear of being arrested.
