Then the things appeared.

I had actually listened to the whole "let the squiddles sleep" track quite a few times. Didn't think it was too bad.

So very, very wrong.

I think it's the Demon because Jade's dream self is dead, and Karkat told them not to sleep after their dream selves died, and it was implied to be because of the Demon.

It seems to me to be the Outer Gods, seeing as how there is more then one horrible creature, just because there's a big one at the end doesn't mean it has to be The Demon himself instead of just another horrible Outer God, and there is no way that thing would fit in such a nice coat.

I got that the Demon was the one causing the Scratch, killing the Dreamselves and destroying Derse/Prospit. After the Dreamselve is dead, sleeping again would take you somewhere else(That now was sort-of revealed to be the Outer Gods dimension).

It does looks like Feferi's Lusus, so ,unless she's gone bonkers, her huge psycho smile might be because they're communicating(She's the bridge between two species after all).

Also note that Jade was smiling quite happily throughout her dream as well, only freaked out by the sheer... something... of it once she'd woken up. We can't say Feferi isn't in the same level of "aaaaaaa"

Okay, no, seriously. That tunnel thing with the HORROTERRORS flashing by dragged on far too long. When it reached the end, I swear, I thought it was gonna be Andross that popped up.
