We should find out what happens when you turn to a zombie.
I'm think you're going to lose at least 4 magic because you will switch from mage to cadaver, and from farie to undead.
On the plus side you will gain 1 HP from not being a farie. On the minus side you will immediately lose it on becoming a zombie.

Is there a way to undo the zombification once Emong gains XP or something?
Also, will having a zombie in our party affect are interactions with people?

EDIT: I also vote we burn the zombie corpses with fire, and then hit them with sticks to make sure they are dead. Afterward we can hit them with sticks that are on fire.
EDIT2: Zavage just reminded me think of another question. Lets say Zavage and Mr. Bookworm die, leaving us with no priests. We come to a choice and there would have been a "priest sees something else" choice. If we revived them there, would the choice be revealed?

The chaos came to an end, the corpses of corpses tossed about wildly by the barbarians, the knights having found their armor slightly dinged at most and finding it quite ridiculous that they had to waste their time with that. And Emong was dead.
Again.

The group huddled, talking amongst themselves while the medics worked their CPR magic on Emong, patched him up and said "Hurrah, he is alive again!". They decided that it would be wisest to help the town reconstruct and recover, rather than running away like a bunch of pansies.

Oh how wisely they had chosen. The towns people, while knowing full well who had wrought this disaster what with the beautiful purple sphere of undead magicalness that the heroes had being in their inventory, accepted the help graciously. "Tis better to forgive and recover than to hate and obliterate, my grand pappy always said," the Mayor of Town Of Little Importance said.

So the heroes set about working on fixing up the town, and it was in that manner that days went by.

Day is now 4th, it is Afternoon.
All Heroes are healed up.
All Heroes get +20 EXP.

The heroes set off, reinvigorated and ready for new adventures when all of a sudden! THEY WERE AMBUSHED!

So I guess we are back on our main adventure now then...?

Hmmm...dark and spooky? or light and pretty? Hmmm....

I'm actually pretty conflicted on this one...

EDIT: 2 Questions: Does the Eye of the Never have multiple uses or is it one time only?
Is there a way to undo zombification if the Eye makes someone a zombie?
