Alright Fenny. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for today.
UNVOTE: FENNY I'm just not gonna vote Demonlink just in case he's got a kickback power.

Whoa, wait. Okay. Person-who-came-to-game-late needs clarification. People are disappearing? In what way are people disappearing? Posts being deleted? That's what it sounds like from what you guys are saying, but I just wanted to be sure before I started making assumptions. In any case, that makes catching up with this game a bit of an interesting endeavor. O.o

I wouldn't call it being smart, I'd call it being lucky enough.

He didn't say anything, because he got taken out of the space-time continuum. As in, he's gone, off the player list, and all his posts are deleted.

... Interesting. Okay, excuse me for pointing out the obvious here, I'm just trying to get a grip on things. In addition to delete-ness, Demonlink2 is claiming to be a cult leader that can't cult anymore. This is very possible with the whole psychologist thing, but Demonlink2 didn't claim this until after the psychologist was revealed (by dying). Of course, this also makes sense because Demonlink2 wasn't revealed as a cult leader until then, but... okay.
On one side, he could be telling the truth. He's scum, but harmless scum, and not nearly as dangerous as this delete-guy. It would be smarter to go after delete-guy than non-threatening guy. However, we don't know who delete-guy is. Fenris as a mod makes a lot of sense, but it could also be somebody else telling a mod which posts to delete. I'm not sure which it is more likely. In any case, it makes sense to go after Fenris to clarify this, but if he IS the deleter-dude, getting rid of him will not only help town, it'll help scum. I'm liking the saving him for night-kill idea, mostly because there's a slight chance that scum might center their kill on him too to make sure he's gone. Correct me if that makes no sense at all. And second reason why lynching harmless cult leader is a good idea: to win, we need Demonlink2 dead anyway, so it's not like lynching him is a waste of time. Plus, I'm thinking that lynching known scum now is more beneficial than waiting; it gives us more time to pick out scum we don't know. In conclusion: lynch Demonlink2. On the other side, Demonlink2 could be lying. Not impossible, with the sudden revelation of himself as cult leader (trying to find a way to save himself) and proof of a psychologist. Do I believe that he's lying? I... don't think I do, but having a cult sneak up on us out of nowhere would really, really suck. If he's lying, major pro to lynching him. If he's not, there's really no cons. So okay, sticking with my Demonlink2 vote. If I got any facts wrong, let me know.

I think you pretty much covered it. I agree that the smartest thing to do is lynch Demonlink2 and wait to see what happens; B_Real is investigating Fenris so if anything happens to B_Real we lynch Fenris, and if not, then we might at least have something to go off.

Classes have started for me, causing this particular delay.
The executioner doesn't so much beckon Demonlink2 forward, as Demonlink2 comes bounding forward giggling. He was happy at the prospect of his demise and the executioner was more then happy to oblige the end of Demonlink2 - Cult Leader- Cult Aligned. Final Vote Count: Demonlink2 (13) Cati Ugainus Demetrius Griever The SSB Intern Demonlink2 Cid Highwind Masked Jedi Rokrin Cephrir Bananarama The Argent Lord Fenris Wolf NIGHT FALLS Lets go with Friday 11:00 P.M CST as the deadline this time. Tropical Storm Fay has been screwing over my power and internet all weekend. Day Breaks And all eyes are fixed upon the latest issue of The National Enquire as it turns out this entire time Fenris Wolf has been The Shadow Creature - Self Aligned. This was that intrepid reporter's big break the rest of his life would be made in the shade, a nice vacation in Hawaii was his first stop after picking up that big bonus but unfortunately The Argent Lord- National Inquire Reporter - Self Aligned arrived dead in his suitcase rather then his seat. The Argent Lord fulfilled his condition and won the game, despite being killed. The game continues still however. 13 Remain, 7 to lynch Last edited by h4x.m4g3; 08-24-2008 at 07:19 PM. |
