I found the cracks to be odd too. It seems mostly to just be a case of paint thinning off though.

It looks like the Sburb logos from the Exiles' future. And as far as I can tell, this is still the present.

What's odd about the cracks in the logo? That whole scene with WQ is happening in the future (i.e. when all the Exiles have met up) and every SBURB logo then is cracked and worn down. As seen here and here (and other places I'm sure). Nothing odd about it.
