To Roy:
I'm new at this game :-/ About recent posts: I kind of doubt that two people would get the same roles for 3 games in a row... So Cephrir still has my vote.

Beneath a darkneing sky, a crowd gathered in the town square. In the center of the, Cephrir was tied to a pole, a pyre built up at his feet. To the cacophany of chants, a townsman stepped forward and lit the pyre ablaze. The flames spread quickly, a pillar of fire amid the ebony night.
From between thick, dark licks of the black smoke, the ivory light of the moon peaked through as if to assist Cephrir. His muscles bulged and his fangs grew, making it clear that he was Cephrir: Werewolf. But it was too late, the flame had done its work. An empty howl pierced the night. Night two has begun. Everyone do your night...ey... thing. ------------------------------------------ In a small house tucked away in a corner of the town, a man rummaged--quietly picking through photographs and books that were ligned up methodically within. There came a creak from the antediluvian wood floor of this humble, ancestral house, and so, the man turned quickly, freeing a crusty weapon from its arms, bolted to the wall. A twang, a thud, all familiar... and the robed man fell to the floor heavily, clutching his arm--the red-rusted cavalry sabre fell from his grip. "So..." came the voice, slowly, from a sillhouette that towered over the fallen man, "You thought you could ambush me in my own home. Clever..." He reveled for a moment, slowly pulling a crossbow bolt across the wooden shaft of his weapon; he grined wider when it clicked into place. "But... not clever enough. With an undignified 'thwack', the body of Newb: Town Inquisitor, Town Aligned collapsed in a pile of its own blood. "Beware thy quarry," spoke Van Helsing, "lest hunter become hunted." As the words left his lips, a scream filled the cool, dusk air--like the wail of a demon. The coppery scent of blood soaked slick the cobblestones as the body of Mr. G. Williams: Vanilla Townie was torn apart by the terrible fangs of a massive lycanthrope; this was the sight that met the eyes of Van Helsing and the rest of the townsfolk. But the beast caught sight of them and lunged forward. "Don't worry. I'll do it," came the somewhat off voice of Pictish as he rushed forward and grabbed the werewolf by the neck, spinning once and throwing him through the heavy stone wall of the town. The wall crumbled beneath the force, obscuring the creature beneath. The sturdier of the town rushed forward to uncover the broken body of CrazyBen: Werewolf, dead as his victim. Amid the confusion, Pictish lept from the shadows, grabbing a townie from behind the very backs of his family and slipping away into the shadows. There was a yell, feeble and shaking. The few who heard broke into a run, to find only the body of Pictish: Cult Leader dead in a crossroads. The telltale puncture in his neck inciting as much fear as his own dark powers once had. And the town shrinks once more. Day three has begun. Seven to lynch. No deadline yet. ------------------------------------------ Further Edit: Quote:
Even before that B_Real thing.

Hmm, that was one messy night. But at least the cult's head has been cut off. With Fenris accounted for, that's only another two cultists.
But now, I would like to single out the arch-traitor Sithdarth! Vote: Sithdarth Quite simply, he's been very quiet. The last thing he said was about calling on the inactives as being scum looked questionable, seeming to try and cast suspicion on Neyo. There is the possibility it was to defend his fellow werewolves, but I actually believe he is the serial killer. The selection of targets by the serial killer has been quite intelligent - only the inactives have been targeted. It makes me think his statement was double-talk to cast suspicion away from him.

I'd just like to point this out.

I'd much prefer to be accused on what I actually said. Also, as any evil role it makes more sense to kill active roles as inactive people always seem suspicous to some people. Not to mention inactive people tend not to vote or accuse you of anything. This is really important as the SK as this is the only protection you have. (In the mafia you have four other people to at least somewhat help deflect attention.) Now unless you want to start up a circular logic track and fall into a WIFOM argument about how knowing you knew I'd do the opposite there isn't much to say. Edited to fix my horrible fucking spelling. |

I probably didn't phrase that in the best way.
To make a better attempt, it reads as trying to make Neyo look suspicious without openly stating it. Lines like "Neyo might not be telling us everything about his motivations". Now, Neyo's list of RedScar, Zeriphor, Major Blood and Cephrir isn't really very much evidence. We know Cephrir was a werewolf, so Neyo's reasoning was partially right at least, but we're much less certain about the others. The two people left out were Sithdarth and CrazyBen. Neyo's missing of people comes across as just inattention to me. Pointing this out means either you are a townie who thought this looked suspicious or you're a threat to the town and wanted to try and get Neyo lynched or at least make yourself look innocent by coming forwards and pointing this out. The underhandedness of phrasing in the post makes me think it was the latter. Also, there is one major reason for killing inactives you haven't mentioned. People get no information from an inactive person being killed. However, if someone active was killed, people get evidence. They can look at who that person has accused or voted for and who has accused them. In any case, no-one has said anything concrete about suspecting you before now, so why bother killing them?
