I actually own (or once owned) a lot of these titles: Battle Realms, Tomba, Tron Bonne, Beyond Good & Evil, Earthbound, Ogre Battle...wow, creepy.

I've played ephermal pahnasia before as a rental. it was really good actually. Really quirky story, but fun to play. i got stuck for a while at one part, then had to bring it back. too bad, too.
Anyhow, i loved Legend of Mana. it was a spectacular game that was overlooked because of its predessesor, and because it was different. I like the strangeness fo the world. and that it didnt exactly make it seem straight out that you were the boss. you were kind of jsut there. I liked that. Also, Quest 64. Apparently totally hated among most people. I liked the game a lot, it was interesting, and cool to play! i felt it was real good... but apparently not everybody else did. i miss my n64 now...*tear *cry *random screams of hateful cries at a spiteful god for breaking my n64* WHY!? WHHHYYYYY?????

Here's my list of games that flew under the radar that for some reason I fell in love with.
Betrayal in Antara Magic: The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers (especially the "Shandalar" quest mode) Onimusha 1-3 Summoner (although I admit at the time it was popular, not many people talk about it anymore.) Wizards and Warriors 2: Ironsword for the original NES Metroid: Zero Mission Beyond Good and Evil Tekken Tag Tournament MDK Death Rally for the PC Chasm of the Rift Red Faction (fuck Halo, fuck Halo in the asshole with a big rubber dick) Shadow Warrior The Incredible Machine Sonic Spinball Flicky The Ooze Comix Zone Vectorman 1 & 2 Final Fantasy Tactics (everyone I know hated it) Evo Secret of Evermore Ratchet and Clank 1-3 Crash Team Racing King's Field 2 (one of my favorites ever) Other than that, I can't really think of any obscure games that I loved. |

I still own Empheral Phantasia!
lol Big Breasted Guard* "Let me know if there is anything you like to know." Talking Guitar* "Ask her what she ate to make her tits that big." *Main character punches guitar* Big Breasted Guard* "Did you say something?" Heheh, man that was awesome. I loved Earthbound, and the Lufia games... And Red faction! CTF maps were always so damn cool at our LAN parties! Imagine this... 24 people on a map, like 2 million tunnels running to the other teams flag. Pure Gold.

Runescape. Why is it hated so much? Yes, the filter is on crack. Yes, some areas are the living cesspools of human stupidity. But it's still fun, and gets updated frequently. I dunno WHY everyone else hates it.

My heart still has a big, empty Ogre Battle 64 hole in it. I rented it 4 times, and am now saving up to buy it. The rest of these I probably own, unless I mention that I don't.
Shenmue 2 I never hear anyone mention. Yuji Naka better come out with the sequel, and finish the story. Psychonauts has recieved mediocre sells, yet the level design is truly amazing. Doesn't really need a sequel, unless they can pull off the same amount of creativity. Bible Adventures for the NES has been concieved as one of the worst games of all time. Sure, collecting animals just to put them in the ark wasn't too fun, but what can beat drowning Baby Moses? Wing Commander: Prophecy. They say the previous installment in the series was better, but it was moving to me, and the first time I really got into a story-based flight sim (before that it was X-Wing VS Tie Fighter). Lord Of The Rings: Volume 1 for the SNES. Endless dungeons, that require old-school methods of drawing your own maps. Ah, the good ol' days... Metal Gear Solid for the GBC. Sold poorly, but I found it. Even though I swear my copy is bugged (can't set down C4 anywhere, when a mission requires it), packing 100+ missions of VR training made a few car rides a bit more enjoyable.
