I could easily see Black Mage having to deal with an ordeal involving all four leftover sins at once. It just goes with BM having his negative luck stat, and generally getting the shaft just about always. =P

Heheheh....Modesty, thy name ain't Fighter.
But considering that Black Mage does have a track record, as the cheif stabmaster and former ruler of Hell, and a motive for all those deadly sins, it wouldn'y suprise me if he has to endure all the ordeals.

RM- Ordeal of Pride. Or Ordeal of Glut.
BM- Ordeal of Wrath. Or Ordeal of Lust. There. I think the first choices are more likely, but the second choices are also appropriate. I doubt there will be an Ordeal of Envy. But expect one from each list.

For everyone saying the guardian is calling fighter lazy, he's calling him apathetic, which means that he just doesn't care. He doesn't care about getting better, he's already as good as he wants to be. mind you, i dont think he CAN get any better.

Angel: People who don't care will never understand the people who do.
Hamilton: Yes, but we won't CARE. /end sidebar All you who say Fighter is not lazy, shame on you for not remembering his training days. |

I wonder if there's a broader case to be made for Fighter's slothfulness.
It seems that if one is to be forced to battle with the embodiment of a personal flaw, it should at least be a flaw that is in some way central to an individual's personality. I guess I can see the outlines of it, but it's sort of stretching the definition of "sloth." It's probably the best (worst?) you're going to get with a character whose only real fault is a sort of willful ignorance. This is neither here nor there, but someone should get to work on the Joe and Monkey crossover.

His willful ignorance is, in a way, his sloth.
He doesn't know much because he doesn't WANT to. Fighter has shown an amazing intellect, but he doesn't care enough to apply it often. Because he has had moments when he was NOT slothful doesn't mean that he cannot learn from the Ordeal of Sloth.
