Rapheal is god with a stick. his soul edge (complete) is the "most powerful weapon in the world" (on game cube) you can just be cheap with (down) (down right) (right) (y) (wait) (y)(y)(y) etc.
Edit: Beserker and the other Uber secrets are just fun to use and say, hah i have every secret! (and i do) Last edited by Thnikkaman; 02-18-2004 at 08:28 PM. |

I'm a demon with Nightmare. It's all about the timing.

I'm still kickin' it on the SCII at my local Arcade when I get the chance. I am a Jack of all Trades, but not really a master with anybody. I'm still good with Yoshimitsu and Ivy, though. On the arcade Conquest, I'm still racking it up good for an intermediate player. 11th in my clan and fighting the good fight with Yoshimitsu. Last time I checked, I was 210-90-something.
I played my friend's copy for GC a while back, and looked at Ivy's movelist. I may have good dexterity, but I only had one thing to say: 'These are the most convoluted move setups I've seen! Eh, I'll get back to trying to learn Mitsurugi now... :fighter: |

Alright sorry i am late for the teams but i want to tell you all something funny. One time i took on an 8 person team with just cervantes. Albiet i was fighting a fairly easy foe but that is tough. I only did it once though. Blintz join the dark side be cervantes and take a few weeks for practice, youll be amazed at the results of a team with of ivy and her father....

Ivy's clamity symphony/common suffering throws are crazy. They require six seemingly random directional inputs to initiate, yet the AI does them without taking a single step!
Note: the difference is that calamity requires her sword to be in whip state (not being twirled) while common suffering requires sword state. symphony is more powerful, indeed the most damaging ability in the game. Vs. hard level AI, I quickly learned that standing in front of ivy is suicide, at any distance. You have to go to the sides. Unfortunately, this make you predictable. Taki's rolls are a lifesaver. For AI Cervantes, I only have trouble if he hits me with Geo Da Ray. After rocketing me in the air, he'll do his air grab throw, and I'll be out of maybe a third of my HP. That's cost me battles I would have won otherwise. Circling dodges it easy, though. So does Stalker. Whoever mentioned Link, I agree. His horizontal throw is insane ringout power. He can force close combat with arrows, too.

I thought Assasin was a Hwang/Xianghua hybrid. He has one of Xianghua's exact moves (jump/duck back, lunge sword forward. I believe it's tap-back>B) I tend to think of him as "generic lightweight" where Lizardman is "generic mediumweight" and Berzerker is "generic heavyweight"

Link is good. Real good. Unfortunately he's not on my system.
My best character is Kilik or Nightmare. Seung Mina's also good, and so are Mitsurugi and Talim when I have fought the guy a few times with him. Of course, when it comes to pure annoyance, Yunsung is the best. No doubt about it, nothing funnier to me than taunting the opponent while Yunsung basically dances around and beats the guy. Only Link with the cane of Byrna and continuously yelling CANE ATTACK!!! has beaten it a few times, but it quickly gets boring. However, it distracted my opponent enough the first time that I managed to win with relative ease. |

As for how the computer does moves automaticaly, while players need to move is cheap.
Thats why I like DBZ budokai and Super Smash Bros., every move is an attack including the moves you need to preform special attacks |

Ah SCII, what fond memories I've had with you... I haven't played in a couple months and I think I should start up again. My signiture characters are Ivy and Voldo.
Ivy is the queen bitch of the universe. Calamity symphony is one of my favorite moves. Typically I'll extend my sword to grab the opponent and input the calamity while they are being dragged toward me. *Pierce* *pull* *death*... mmm delicious. Voldo is wonderful because he can perform a series of moves no matter what position he's in. I like his insanity dance moves, they lead into wonderful grabs and stances. Most players can't take that kind of spontinaity. |
