Armored paused during her assault to change her clip. "Elevators and stairs, huh? I figured a place with such a high dollar value as Phoenix described would have tubes or teleporters or something along those lines."
It made Armored feel a little to know stairs and elevators were still "in". Her own spacecraft wasn't that advanced, either. But then again, she was a little too nervous about tubes and teleporters. Old fashioned elevators and manual stairs suited her just fine. With a fresh clip placed in the rifle and the first round chambered, she continued her attack on the enemy, planning to transform to her Bunny Girl cosplay for a much easier time scaling lots of stairs. |

Reneé looked up—gazed in awe at the twin-headed behemoth who glared back.
“You made the wrong choice...” “I never make the wrong choice,” KP said, through the bud in her ear. “You can do this.” Reneé nodded and hoisted her autocannon in both hands. With the press of a button, the massive—if not quite massive enough—gun whirred to life. The HUD winked into existence on Reneé’s visor and she began taking aim, a realization in her mind and a smirk on her face. “The bigger they are...” Reneé began, as the autocannon barrels sped with a clicking, mechanical whirr. She fired a swarm of the dull-red-shelled frag grenades at the A-HEPT and burst into a run. The bigger they are... That might well become the theme of the evening.

Ecurt gave me control of his character! Check out the Evil's return RP for info!

Nikose, ears having stopped bleeding, was standing calmly beside Melfice, out in the open. "Robo-troopers... are they people or just mean robots?" Nikose scratched his chin, and was promptly shot in the chest.
He dropped. And got back up and finally ducked behind cover. "Assume Robots." Nenyel chimed helpfully. Nikose threw himself into the fray, and let out a low-level electrical wave, attempting to use the crystal to grant himself sufficient control to create an EMP wave. |

Arhiyara didn't take kindly to having her larger-than-Renee's-weapon gun fired upon. "BULLETS!" she shouted, firing her weapon in retaliation and blithely ignoring that neither the A-HEPT or Renee's autocannon actually used bullets.
Despite awkwardness in pulling the trigger with giant dragon claws, Arhiyara got her shot off. A massive discharge of blue flame leapt from its barrel, plasma bolt aimed squarely at the grenades. Being smaller than a truck, they were obliterated. But, as is a well known fact, fragmentation grenades are made of explosives. The resulting detonation was ridiculously powerful, the two weapons apparently trying to outdo each other. A string of explosions merged together into something much greater, blinding light and a nasty shockwave bursting out between the two combatants. Arhiyara staggered back slightly, startled by the excessive force of the mutual annhilation. It was a little like kicking a bunny and finding it was made of gunpowder. The next thing she knew, a volley of frag grenades peppered the claw she held the A-HEPT in. Renee evidentally was more used to lots of meaningless explosions and had fired on Arhiyara a second time. Arhiyara snarled, heads whipping around to find her foe again and hurt claw reflexively jerking up, the A-HEPT sparking. Damaged in the volley, the A-HEPT chose that moment to overload. It exploded violently. Far away, it was quite possible that Phoenix's head also exploded, or at least it would when she learnt of the destruction of her item submission. Finding her prized item of superiority to Renee's obviously inferior weapon replaced with an expanding ball of super-heated plasma, Arhiyara bellowed in pain. She held her injured foreleg off the ground, nasty looking ichorous stuff oozing off it and gave an ear-splitting roar, heads snaking around to fix Renee with an angry glare. "HURT!" was her roar, chaotic flames gushing from her jaws. As the volley rushed towards Renee, it was obvious something weird was at work. Certainly, at the beginning there had been flames, but raining down at her appeared to be hard globules, splattering into random flowery blossoms of colourful doom. They appeared to be paintballs. Unusually large paintballs fired with unusual force, but paintballs all the same. Those things hurt like hell.

"Meh." IC said as he saw the bear bounce off the wall. Seemed it had quickly turned into a bouncy ball, and so it had easily bounced off the wall. Now he had a bear flying at him. IC thought for a split-second, then decided to try out his new toy. IC held out his hand with the wrist, holding it out as if he was commanding the bear to stop.
Then, just a split second before impact, a thread appeared between him and the bear. Might as well see how a bear impacts a near immovable wall. |

Phoenixbot reeled back slightly to avoid the Fireball In Her Eye [TM], firing her cyroban icethrower at the small projectile inflight in an attempt to shoot it down. This gambit didn't work terribly well, but it did prevent anything more than superficial damage to her eye.
"You're a wily one, Nein." Phoenixbot said coldly, "If only there were an abominable sin agaisnt god here to put you in your place." At that moment, the Sundered Heart of Chaos pulsated a questionable reddish-green. Arhiyara could feel a slight, distant tingle down it's collective spine... "That is, if this thing works."

[OOC: Melfice's muscle power increased due to Option, so I'm going to assume that includes leg muscles as well. He got faster due to it. Logical, right? Of course, not as fast as the guys under Sprint]
Melfice's wound started to heal as he looked at it. He felt stronger, faster... he felt good. He also felt less agile, but he wouldn't need that right now. He could take anything! Melfice dove right at the group of robots that were stunned by Nikose's EMP wave. They were gone in seconds, due to his own sword's electrical enchantment. "I don't know what happened, but I'm loving this effect!" Indori re-merged with Melfice and formed the suit again. Together, they looked like quite the behemoth, with Indori accenting Melfice's now bulging muscles.

"Lady, I am an abominable sin against whatever! And I do mean 'whatever'." Sensing his opponent was pulling out her card as well, (so to speak. I mean, a sundered heart of chaos is as far away from a card as you could get, aside from the fact a 1/4th of the deck is the Heart suit.) Pyros mashed the button on the Butt-poorly named device.
His very being glowed brightly, and every bit of him, armor, hair and all became enveloped in a everchanging color that changed in uniform. Like an ipod commercial, except the guy dancing is much trippier. As the colors changed, so did Pyros's physical features and what could be made out of the outline of his armor, until they were seemingly absorbed into the main part of Pyros's colorful body while new outlines sprouted out elsewhere. First off were two thin appendages poking out of the top of his head, almost like antennas, then Pyros' footwear rose a bit off the ground and became less bulky, while Pyros' overall figure became much more slim. With the transformation done, the color disintegrated off and blew away in the wind like magic powder, revealing....Bunny Pyros. Pyros found himself in a typical bunny suit, albeit a bit more refined than the Playboy ones. It was red in color, with black leggings and instead of heels the shoes were platform. His legs felt stronger, while his arms lacked their usual potency while also looking silly with white gloves. The costume was ill fitting for Pyros at the moment, much like Mesden's dress had been a while back, and didn't seem to be that much more useful than Pyros's current form. He checked the B.u.t.t.s.e.c.k.s.'s display. Quote:
"What is this, Lufia 2? I suppose this works out because I've got kinda pointy ears, don't it? Spooty elves. Well, I suppose that since there is room for improvement, then I might as well improve upon it!" In a move a certain notorious rabid FMA fan would approve of, Pyros clapped the two gloves together and then placed them on his outfit, which began to glow again. This time, instead of the cosplay transformation sequence, an almost Digimon evolution sequence went down. BUNNY GIRL OUTFIT IS ADVANCED TO......BUNNY HOOD! Quote:
"Therewego, muchbetter!" Pyros' voice had become a bit squeaky, sped up along with everything else. His body shifted poses and even breathed much faster, though it was only Pyros' own godly body that kept him from hyperventilating and passing out as a result. Newly powered up, Pyros attempted to race to Phoenix bot before she could use her item to cook up something nasty, although with the time lost from both transformation sequences, she could have probably built a second robot copy of herself and taught it to love before Pyros finished. Damned transformation sequences! So much time wasted just changing clothes, yet...so necessary!

IGNORE ME!
|
TBMoichi was outside the entrance by the time Indori had become a wolf, it seemed the safest place to be at the time. As soon as the chaos of a wolf sounded on the steps of this staircase battlefield TBMoichi moved back in. As a samurai he felt he was quick, but something was much different now, it was as if not only was he fast but everyone else was moving in slow motion.
He opted to ignore studying the feeling and instead take full advantage of it. He charged around his fellow NPFer's as a blur, his katana flashing brilliantly for a fraction of a second each time he finished a stroke but just before he began another. The robotroopers tumbled to pieces around him, some lost hands or arms but most lost their torsos as they were split in two. He stopped before the flight of stairs to sheathe his blade and take a breather, the robotroopers just behind him all fell to nothing, be it from his blade or the emp field resonating from Nikose in combination with the behemoth that was formerly known as Melfice; TBMoichi did not care, it was tiring to move so quickly. He heard the sound of 30 guns reloading above him, then the sound of the weapons being fired. TBMoichi was into the ever rising fray before the first bullet struck the stone he had been standing upon. Those 3 seconds had been a very rewarding break.
