Anyway, I'll get my post up soon and Elizabeth will answer all your questions. Or I can just tell you now that it's Dragon/Ground. But you don't know that in-RP yet.

My best attempt was to try to get 5 attacks of 2 of those 3 elements and 3 of the others (since we have 13 attackers with the number of pokemons on the field). Although I don't actually know if our attackers would be able to do that.
*Shrug* So it's basically in Garchomp/Flygon mode. EDIT: Sorry, I meant those 3 types I listed, Grass, Ice and Water were the only 3 weaknesses to consider. Since Ground has just 3 weakpoints, in order for it to have a quad weakness, it'd naturally have to be one that also have that those weakpoints. Which in the Dragon/Ground case, is Ice. Yeah, I realized it would only have one weakpoint. But what I'm saying is that there was 3 viable options for elements that would target a ground type for quad damage and it was one of those 3 options. Which one is the true one was the question.
But yeah, I'll wait for your post to mention about the dragon/ground typing in character. Last edited by Menarker; 06-28-2011 at 03:51 PM. |

Sorry, mo' Internet issues. Something about authenticating the modem or whatever.
I dunno why I kept that Toxique alive to begin with. I'll correct it regardless but it's pretty pointless since it'll die in a single hit next turn or something. It's not like Mollesk is going to daterape it over to PATCA's side... ... Nope, still not considering it. Drac, don't worry about taking action for anyone but yourself. We're going to sort of freeform speed through that battle because I don't really feel like giving Charlotte's team the chance of defeating Ginnungagap and catching up to you before it's resolved. That room's a cluster enough as is without a third formation bustin' in. 'Sides, you all still got a bomb to run very far away from. Info on characters in case your curiousity is burning too hotly: Dinner the Oversoul is a dead human spirit in a body she constructed with her own incredible powers. Despite how most souls either become lunch for demons (which is a roundabout way of how Dinner named herself) or slaves or even just ingredients in alchemy and other stuff, Dinner's soul persevered and through immense luck, Dinner gained power beyond measure. Able to destroy archfiends and other high ranking foes with her boundless and sourceless might, Dinner longs to use her powers to help people, but lacks the ability to tightly control her powers so that saving a cat from a tree doesn't involve leveling several major cities. To this end, she works and fights alongside Shizuka, which causes the latter no small end of irritation as she has to constantly explain to Dinner that helping an old lady across the street in no way requires massive laser beams. Edelweiss is the leader (though she still considers herself only the second-in-command) of Adonova, the group that eventually grew into what we know to be Team Rocket. Adonova was lead by Giovanni's mother (who shall remain nameless) and their dealings are far darker that constantly attempting to abduct Pokemon #25. These people are the elite of the elite, commiting high level assassinations and corrupting strong governments into doing their bidding with ease. Giovanni is considered their current leader only officially, as no member of Adonova will follow his orders and they actually seem hostile towards the regulars in Team Rocket. To them, Giovanni could never be able to fill the shoes his inhumanly-talented mother left vacant (she's not dead, just retired). Edelweiss is a far more promising fighter and leader, but she is not without humility and feels that she couldn't possibly be as great as her mistress is, but still assumes the role on an interim basis. Stomping out destructive elements like Edelweiss and the Adonova are clearly the main reason that PATCA was created in the first place. Whitepearl was constructed in Millenium House as the very first Gabriel Force unit, but then Burkmont gave up on the idea, then decided to go through with it again, except he relied on his own staff of technicians, scientists, engineers, electricians, and other proficiencies to build the Gabriel Force instead. Despite only being about 40% done by that time, Faynoc finished her anyways out of his own pocket. She turned out better than any single unit, but not by very much, and Faynoc assigned her to protect him. Before his death, it seems that Faynoc changed his orders around and now has Whitepearl protecting Myrie. Faynoc apparently has big plans for Myrie. Not much of a shame that he isn't around to see them come to fruition. Last edited by Astral Harmony; 06-28-2011 at 09:04 PM. |

So where does Jeanette work into her daughter becoming a freakish killing machine? Why isn't she reacting? Is Jeanette just not there? Is there hope for Myrie?

All mother-daughter interactions to be done during the battle. I felt the post was absurdly text-heavy as it was.

Ok, we should have enough attackers to finish off the Ginnuagap this turn. Since each hit does 500% damage regardless of its strength, that just means 5 hits is needed to take it down from 2500% to 0%. Charlotte's Arceus, Matthias, Darcelle, Whitney, Lola are all capable of using Blizzard which is the weakpoint for the ground/dragon type Drac says it is. The remaining attackers can finish off the Toxique easily. Hopefully I can find someone who can set up a Hail weather condition to make the Blizzard attacks 100% accurate.
I'll check on it in more detail when I get to the computer holding the current NPC data. EDIT: Impact also has ice type weapon, so I can get Matthias to cast Hail (Also making him an Ice type Castform in the process) to help with Blizzard's accuracy. Mission is nearly over. ^^ Last edited by Menarker; 06-29-2011 at 06:38 PM. |

You're right. It is nearly over...for YOU!! Wah ha ha ha haaagh!
... Man, that sounded so much cooler before I actually typed it. But indeed, the mission is finally coming to a close. Then after a mountain range worth of text, it's off to the beach! The sand, the surf, the peaks and valleys! Oh, and Ruin Generals, too. All in all, I don't expect Mission 4 to take long and then we're off to the underworld! |

Am hoping we can have the revised database finished by then. I just need your collaboration on a few bits here and there. |
