Well, obviously some things would stay secret.

But I dunno if the White Catseye Gem is that secret, given that Aster knows about it and was allowed to casually tell Renny and Mika about it. The latter in a public setting.

I figured that Aster knew about the Catseye Gem and Irene's involvement due to a vision and joined PATCA under some other pretext, or at least not mentioning that he knew that little detail.

And that he probably trusted Renny enough to tell him, and Mika by association.

[Dracorion]

You presume too much about Renny.

[Menarker]

Nah. He did trust Renny with the info. That isn't presuming too much at all.

Whether or not the info was valuable enough for the trust to be significant is the question.

Like I said, I doubt it was too much of a secret if Aster could just blab about it to Renny.

It's pretty secret for now.

And maybe I did say she got attacked by a kitchen knife and forgot about it. Maybe because I was trying to set up Harliette to quote movies and just have fun with something tragic.

Harliette: "My mother was a drinker, and a fiend. And one night, she comes home all crazier than usual, and daddy gets the kitchen knife to defend himself. She doesn't like that. Not. One. Bit. So, me watching, she takes the knife to him, laughing as she does it, and she turns to me and says 'whyyyy sooo serioussss?'"
Lola: "Wait a second. I thought mom tried to kill you with a falling piano?"
Harliette: "We don't have a piano in our house. At least not then."
Calisto: "I thought she used a broom handle to lock down the gas petal of a steamroller and try to let it crush you."
Harliette: "Where the fuck would she get a-?!"
Whitney: "Really? I figured her mother hired aliens to abduct her and break her entire molecular structure down to learn more about our race."
Harliette: "Who's telling this fucking story?"
Mirror: "Hey, did you girls hear about how Harliette's mom tried to kill her in the past by fucking her up the ass with a barbed dildo until she bled to death?"
Lola: "..."
Calisto: "..."
Whitney: "..."
Mirror: "True story."
Harliette: "IT IS NOT!! Although I wouldn't put it past her."

So why blab about it to a schmuck who can't do anything about it?

No offense, Menarker, but all Renny did was tell Aster to talk to Mika. And I'm thinking if he wanted Mika's help, he would've asked before that.

It's because the shmuck can't do anything about it which is why he told him about it in the first place.

'Sides, some people need to vent from time to time. Helps build comraderie or something like that.

I'm just sayin'.

Telling someone who doesn't need to know just runs the risk of the secret getting out. No matter how trustworthy the schmuck is.

I mean, sure, there are exceptions for like lovers and friends. But I don't think Aster is interested in Renny being either.

Unless he is, in which case I don't want to keep talking about this.

On an entirely different note, I'm fairly surprised that a thread about an intermission will actually reach and exceed a hundred posts. We must've had a lotta fun, didn't we?

Probably no posts tonight. I'll focus on gathering other materials and set things up so I can make posts for the other RP threads tomorrow evening if not earlier.
