You know what I hate. When your with a girl and her friends. And she says she has to go to some and she'll be right back(example: the bathroom). So while shes gone her like one friend thats there with you asks you if you want to ask her out. If you say yes then it's usally way to soon and it's werid. If you say no then it's like "Oh, okay." And they think you just want to be a friend. I mean, is there a middle ground? I'm pretty sure all you girls tell your friends stuff that when you ask us you say you won't. Well atlest some of you.
And EvilKujujuwa, thank you. I wondered how to get to know what you girls like. I have to remeber... weekend.

The middle-ground, Redscar, is using an answer that is less definitive and isn't monosyllabic. For instance: "Well, I don't know. I really like her, but I'm kind of nervous about it, and I don't feel like I know her well enough."
You have the "Basically yes" answer, but you also make it sound like you want to wait a bit, so it's not too soon, and, further, the being nervous about it will make it seem like you REALLY like her and don't want to fuck up. Date follows. Quote:

Crodevillian Team you are an evil person who likes to spoil my fun. I must now go cr...celebate.
In all seriousness though, I think if I could find a female who would even consider to be just my friend and play D&D I would be super happy for like a month, then I'd get used to it and find something else to complain about. Hell, I've met plenty of girls who like to roleplay, but for some reason you bring up D&D and suddenly I get an excuse anywhere from: "But why should we use rules?" to "Dungeons and Dragons....I'm a nerd Mike but that's just to far". The first one is usually the easier to deal with but still usually hits a dead end. Now I think I'll go back to waiting for that friend of mine who provided me with both of those example to get on the internet...

something interesting that I have noted among gaming girls, slightly off your path here... the girls that RP with me, tend to be a bit... open. they take feats like seductive, and they even have one where they can use blatent sexuality to get their way! followed by upset males when they dont get their way, of course. not fair.
in general, to respond to my last post, the ubergeeky girls are also more interested in the game, than in the people they meet. I had to litterally entirely destroy my fiancee's character in DND before she remembered my name. of course, at first that was to curse me everytime she saw me... heh... oh, blooming young love... |

Most people are gamers! Even the biggest loosers play at least one or two videogames.
Anyway I'm single and looking (for a while probably). So I thought I'd let all the girl gamers out there who are single and looking know who I am. I wonder if this is gonna work? I doubt it, but hey its worth a shot I figured. Jonathan E. Pautler 18/M/Illinois Looking for an attractive, smart, and talkative woman. Preferably close, but certainly not a requirement. Likes poetry, reading, writing, talking, and other forms of verbal and written epression. Former Basketball and Football player in High School. Likes sporty women too. Currently in my first year at Southwestern Illinois College. Warning: I used to be a gaming superfreak. I've played and beaten nearly all the Final Fantasy series. Was a top Age of Empires 2 player. Played a huge variety of genres. My life until about 2 years agao consisted of spending 8+ hours a day gaming on average. Naturally, more during the summer and less during school. Sadly now my life is too full with 21 credit hours, NPF, and a job tutoring. I dont get anywhere near my normal daily dose of gaming, but other things fill that void. However, I'm still recovering from withdrawl symptoms. If theres any gaming girls interested drop me a message. All of my contacts are linked on my NPF account. For all the other First Timers out there. For the rest of ya's. Hook me up if anyone knows any hotty gamers around St.L or So. Ill area.

okay, the purpose of the forums is not to hook up. if it was, then that is all we would be doing here. just giving you the warning before an admin comes by and starts jabbering about, "obvious unwritten rules about internet safety and guidelines."
besides, if life were supposed to be that easy, we would all be born with the name and address of our future lifemates tattoo'd on our foreheads so we dont get screw ups. |

Oh no no. I'm not going to talk about unwritten rules about internet safety and guidlines.
I'm one of those "Let the gene pool clean itself" folks. In fact, I fully support him putting not only his state up, but also his city, zip code, and street address. And not just here! Oh no! Why he should post it on prison message boards as well! Particularily ones for serial killers about to get out on parole! Disclaimer: The above was all sarcastic. BITINGLY sarcastic. I in no way condone getting oneself murdered. Seriously, no more of that. Adding modular weight to Nikose's statement, basically. And Nikose, don't steal my fun. I like to do this myself. I LIKE to point out how wrong people are. It's my reason for existence. You don't want to take away my reason for existence, do you? Nikose? Buddy?

watch it, pal. we have a saying where we come from.
"friends are friends, pals are pals, but buddies sleep together." oddly, most cats around here are named buddy. but no more fun stealing. of course, modular weight means little, compared to rep weight... but, i would never ask for rep, oh no... also, why are the hot gamer chicks even being discussed? they still have their choice of jocks anyway. why would they come to us? |

For the same reason that hot gamer guys (like me, and a few other guys I've seen on the picture thread [DJStarchild = Hawt]) prefer gamer girls.
Jocks don't share interests with us. They aren't good for building a lasting relationship. The only thing you could get from a jock, relationship-wise, if you're a 'hardcore gamer', is cheap sex.
