My exact response to that was "OOH!* [Clap]". I had been thinking "My death was less sissy-esque than your death!"
Incidentally, no one ever did point out that reference in the linked comic. Does nobody else read the Fortuna Saga? And congratulations on a 3000th post. *The kind of "OOH!" when you see someone get owned, not when you see something shiny.

I think Fortuna Saga is still down because of that stupid Freewebs monthly bandwidth thing.
Great comics, everyone. Thought I'd just get that out of the way. Everyone says that. I have a big future planned out ahead for my story arc. It'll probably involve Skyshot, Meister, Chicago, Qeeko, mammothtank, and anybody else who'd like to be featured (on top of that, there will also be Rick yelling "Stop stealing MY ideas!") And phil_mike, I have nothing against you. I just wanted to use part of your storyline for my comic because hey, it sorta fits in to what's been happening with me. I'll post another episode soon. It takes place between my last comic and phil_mike's last comic. Last edited by Great Cartoonist; 08-01-2005 at 08:12 PM. |

Also, just a note to anyone using charcters who appear in my comic - I don't actually view my story as going on in the same continuity as everything else here. As such, I'd appreciate it if it were kept seperate. Mostly I'm just trying to keep things simple, but I'm also trying very hard not to break the fourth wall in my story and to do so I've kinda got a system of rules in place that govern how my world works. So yeah, I don't mind self-referencing stuff like the above - I just don't want it to be in my continuity. I hope this doesn't come off as hard-assed or self centered. I'd just appreciate the opportunity to try my idea out. That's not to say I'm not open to any contributions to my arc, as long as it's run by me first. Demon, in fact, has something up his sleeve that I can't wait to see...

So, your mind can be controlled? I must use subliminal messages to force you to draw me.
Hey, Chicago! Draw me next! Pleasepleasepleasepleeeeeease? Wait, no, that's superliminal! Abort! Abort![/vague Simpsons reference] Also, FW, good job. I was wondering how you would end that joke; in fact, I originally intended it to be a one-shot, non-continuity thing since it would be hard to follow up on. Nevertheless, you seem to have handled it gracefully.

phil_mike- I love you.
Words cannot describe the true magnitude of my adoration for those comics. Every moment killed me. (I carry a phoenix down about my person for just these occasions.) GC- The trumpet thing? Priceless. Who knew that the plot hole led straight to the underworld? Crazy old world, isn't it? FenrisWolf- I loved watching Skyshot through the window. The details in your comic are fantastic! Keep up the great work! Mammothtank- Where do you find your backgrounds? They're awesome! Note- I'm going to be offline from the 3rd to probably the 11th (vacation!) so this area will be pleasantly Mauve-free for an entire week. WOULD YOU STOP CHEERING?! I GET IT ALREADY! I need the break to refill my funniness reserves. OH- and for you folks who PMed me about what the bleep was going on in the last episode of Finding Meister: It was called "Inside Jokes" for a reason. If you didn't get it, you probably weren't supposed to. :p

Zutsu, the second you're of legal age, you're having my first child. Nothing else to it.
You other folk, be afraid. Be very sexually afraid.
