Yaay more art!
Tweebus - I saw the full version of that. It's quite excellent. One of my favorites of your stuff. Minner - Very cool. I could stare at it for quite a long time, trying to see all of the details in it. Niverath - Those dragons rock. You have to teach me how to draw cool dragons sometime. Skweeb - Looking cool. Can't wait to see it after you get some more into it. =D Sketch by me: I really liek the design for the scythe. It makes me happy. I need a new watermark, but I don't know what to do, and I hate it when pictures have ugly watermarks right over them. Bleh

Since nobody could quite figger out what was going on in the teaser I'll give a bigger teaser this time 'round. The underbuild is in prog and I couldn't help myself with the coloring.

Poor grammar aside, it gots no face!!! Which reminds me of Pyramid Head. Very plus cool. And I won't even hold the colouring against you. It is too brilliant. Now I know your secret technique of doodling out the wireframe first! Bwahahaha!! All will be mine! Or no.
'Jessa, you will surrender that scythe to me now. I must have it's awesome powers If I am to live up to my above statement. Pleeeease? I never get to win. You Germans and your heavy books that work. Gravity must be stronger where you live, 'cause the wrinkles don't stay out of my paper. Stupid paper. I'll try anyway; hopefully I'll find something I'm not tempted to read. Like a book of Pi to a billion digits. Do they make those? Finally getting the hang of tablet-drawing! In other news, I seemed to have killed me again. Well, artist-me. Uh, in my head... My avatar? I don't know, but he must be getting sick of it by now. EDIT: Holey crapola, my signature is invisible on flatscreens. I tilted the monitor really far and boom, there it was. Oh! Maybe that's what you need Celes. A watermark that doesn't obstruct the picture, but can be easily made visible via contrast-upping in times of crisis. Er, when proof is needed.

Wow! Some fantastic color going on since I last looked in!
Niverath, your work is fantastic! You mentioned some warping using watercolours. Minnerthecat is right, unfortunately, it's usually the very expensive brands that work best. Same with the paints. Thanks Celes for taking the time to peek in! Looking forward to seeing that in color! Skweeb, the colouring job you did for me got 900+ views and people loved it! So, don't be confused- be flattered!

Pretty much finished, albeit a few minor touchups I'll most likely make on the leathers.
Totally gonna stat this dude out as a most dangerous villain. I'm such a d20 nerd.. Last edited by Grandmaster_Skweeb; 04-24-2007 at 06:10 AM. |

Cool most dangerous villain Skweeb!
I see you tightened it up by bringing in the left arm. Those also look like Celtic tatoos. I don't see anything wrong in hyping one's work. You post it so people can see it and hopefully enjoy it. The alternative is that it sits in a drawer or closet somewhere and no one sees it at all.

And nobody likes a most dangerous villain hiding in their drawer! I keep a giant fuzzy d20 on my bedside table for just such an occurrence. Very useful.
Excellent job on the draugr! (I got educated on Wikipedia ) Especially in giving it that touch of rusted gore on the arm, axe and helm. I always did like things that were convincingly terrifying.
