The Obfuscated One
|
I was thinking for a bit about a few strips I'd like to make, and I was just wondering who here takes some sort of martial arts class.
If you take one, please say what it is and refer me to a sprite of you in martial arts gear. If you have no such sprites, I can mess with what I can find and see what can be done. So far, I've got: Tae Kwon Do Newb (tkd sprites done) Phil (no tkd sprites, other sprites in sprite thread) Mike (no tkd sprites, other sprites in sprite thread) Druidal (tkd sprites done)

I've studied various martial arts -- TKD, Hapkido, US Special Forces Hand-to-hand, English...no such sprite, though. If anyone wants to make one for me, go ahead and I'll subpixelate it.
Anyways, guess I'm up for whatever you're planning.

I don't know... can swordplay be considered martial arts? Probably not, so just try to imagine me getting River City Ransom on someone's fleshy behind. (Actually, Technos Samurai has a lot more moves that are cooler than RCR. Examples: The flying spin kick from Double Dragon [yes, it's in TS too!], Mach Punch II [The equivalent of Stone Hands from RCR, with an uppercut at the end instead of a normal punch])
See what you can do about making a sprite of me doing karate, because I don't have said sprite. Also, I'm surprised no one found the hidden joke in my latest not-regular comic yet. I'm rather disappointed in you, Skyshot. Last edited by Great Cartoonist; 08-06-2005 at 06:54 AM. |

Making it happen.

I still can't get Maple Story to download... That site hates me. I click on the link to download and nothing happens... Garr...
Sorry, off-topic rant. Great comics everyoen!

Just copy the image onto your hard drive, open it with whatever paint tool, and use a fill color on the bottom black part of the comic. P.S.: I do know where you are hidden in your revenge against AJ comic, I just don't wanna tell the rest of the forumites so they'd try to find it too. P.S. (again): It took me 20 minutes to find Cat's sprite sheet. I had to look in the Slightly Out of Order website. |

Lovely. Now everytime anyone makes a comic, I'm gonna have to check for someone putting me in it.
Hey, it'd be like Where's Waldo, only with Skyshot, and a different way of hiding the character, and a different audience, and a host of other things. Ya know, you have to feel sorry for Waldo. No matter how hard he tries to hide, there are always people trying to find him. Poor guy must be paranoid out of his skull. Like I'm going to be with every new comic. Rage...

Aw, great. Cancel the party plans. Kind of a shame, what with all the cheering I had planned.
So, what hotel is this? And does it come with free MS Paint access as well?
