People people; let’s look at this logically for a moment. Fenris is normally a highly intelligent player, and had nothing against TWG until recently. Mesden also mentioned secret roles in the beginning of the game. I suspect that Fenris received one of these that forced him to vote for the least likely player. Otherwise there is no reason whatsoever for Fenris to vote for TWG, even if he is a mafiate.
Newb on the other hand is growing ever scummier though. He completely ignored my accusation against him, and continued his voting for Arhra. Now when he can see that Fenris is on the chopping bloc, and that he cannot convince you to vote for Arhra, he joins a bandwagon. People, look at this logically; if you do, I think you will find Fenris innocent and Newb guilty.

So, you tell us to look at things logically, but instead of accepting that there's something up with Fenris that would cause him to make a stupid mistake, you invent a secret role.

A secret role that we don't know he has.

A secret role that we can't guess the effects of.

A secret role that doesn't fit with the way Fenris has voted in the past.

A secret role that is hard (if not impossible) for the GO to quantify or enforce. (and from my experience as a DM in DnD, you need to be able to do these things if the situation is going to pop up a lot).

Not to mention, a secret role that greatly influences and defeats part of the set up of the game.

For the love of... Ockham's Razor alone... I... GAH!!

And then, you accuse US of being illogical?

I'm just suggesting something that could explain why he is suddenly voting for TWG, who has been proven innocent almost beyond all doubt. If you can think of another reason I'd be happy to hear it.

This isn't a "slight logical" leap it's a rather big jump of imagination, if anything. Had this been the reason for not posting he would have simply joined the game, not quit. The only thing we can say is that Crotchknocker had problems in Life (As Mesden said), and couldn't post, so he was replaced. That is it.




This theory is little better then the last one, with you ignoring what Mesden said about his reason for leaving yet again. It seems to me that you are trying to breed confusion here. This leads me to Vote: Newb .

I didn't respond then for the same reason why, when I'm in New York City, I don't respond to the people who try to give me a pamphlet screaming that the apocalypse is coming, it's all my fault, and I can solve the problem by giving them money.

I mean really, there's no way to know whether Arhra was joking or not, and Mesden specifically said that he didn't remember joining.

All of these are more logical than yours as they make fewer assumptions than yours.

You can say you don't trust Newb.

You can say you think Fenris is innocent. (Though, defending yourself that speciously is a recipe for trouble.)

But you can not say that we're being more illogical than you. At least, not intelligently.

I think I may have missed part of Mesden's post. Nevertheless your conclusion is still not as likely as that in my opinion.
KP, you are right, I may have jumped the gun slightly with my accusations, even though I still believe that this isn't the kind of thing any sane player (as Fenris has been until now) would do.

Sure, I usually dont find random things funny but that one made me laugh. Bad at this game? Fenris. That's like saying windows caused the Black Plague. Sure, it kills millions of people each year with it's bad systems, but it doesent cause disease.

So far, that was a very stupid comment to make. In my opinion, TWG, Fenris and Nique (not in this game though) are the best players I have seen. They give insightful information about the game and the way it is played, and they make judgements based on what the information tells them. Personally, whether Fenris is mafia or not (which I doubt. More of a secret role thing I think.), it doesent matter. Bad at this game? I think not.

But then Newb, I haven't FOS'd you because I wanted to see how you would do without the pressure of accusations. However, rash comments and wild accusations that have baseless meaning seems to be a habit for you. You have forced my hand Newb, and if I want to play smart, I have to do this.

Garud, take a look at the other two games.

People said I was quick to fly off the handle in those, too, and it got me killed in the first game.

In the first one it was proved I was town aligned, and in the second my position has not been shown yet, but I correctly fingered three mafiates with that list of mine. Baseless accusations, those were not.

Now, look at Fenris.

His playing style got him killed in the first game he played in, for, as he claims, "being too helpful" and now, in the second game, he has a radically different playing style which is just as foolish, and fits the archetype of somebody who doesn't quite get what they're supposed to be doing as a mafiate.

If I didn't have you down as a townie, I'd think that this was a particularly stupid attempt by the mafia to deflect attention from Fenris.

I mean really, all these people pointing at Fenris, and you go after me? The person who several people have already said is dangerous to the mafia? If my list didn't tell me otherwise, I'd say that you were part of the mafia with Fenris, SecretSkull, and some others. As is, I think you're falling sway to their arguments.



Also, my spreadshet tells me that Living Bobbeh is suspicious, and upon checking, this is because he only posted once, and that was to make a vote for no lynching and pretty much nothing else.

I doubt he's part of the mafia, but he might be the imposter, or just somebody who isn't used to the game.
