I got off right after my last post, at 12:18 AM. The time it took to lynch him is irrelevant to my point. If you're not going to check all the facts before you say that I was able to send in my mafia vote, then you shouldn't say it.

You know, you can say you got off all you want, but like Sithdarth said, you have no way to prove it. If there's some way for me to see that you got out right after that, other than you just insisting its true, please enlighten me.

Have you ever checked my post history? You notice I've been in invisible mode since Mafia SP, right? You CAN'T judge when someone gets off by when they post, Roy. It's not a solid defense, but Ben's entire "These people were on" is debunked by the same logic, as you can't prove the contrary.

There is no way to prove it. No way you'll believe anyway. But anyway, I dunno why you just singled me out, when there were more than three other people on at the time. Well, okay, I do know why you singled me out. It's because, apparently, I was trying to get lurkers lynched. Which wasn't the case. I was trying to get those that were lurking around the thread, reading but not posting, to maybe post once in a while so that we would have a better idea of whether they were mafia or not. So trying to get people to play makes me look scummy?

I was just basing it on the fact that they posted. I GUESS the Mafia Don or CL could have just been lurking, but I'm just saying that those are people we KNOW were on (because they posted in that 20 minute period).

No, but I have yet to see non-scum do that. You were trying to get us to kill people just because they didn't have anything to contribute the first day or two. In fact, the whole "Mafiates always lurk" theory seems to be bunk. From what I've seen, Mafiates are just about always regularly post to the thread, with one ALWAYS being one of the big, trestise(sp?) marathon posters.

Edit: Grammar mistake

The Mafia could have been lurking, but mafiates just about always regularly post?

Okay now. What do you mean, that you haven't seen non-scum try to get players to post?

And just because it happens in other games, doesn't mean it happens here.

Yes, Mafiates just about always try to post regularly, even if they're skimpy, so people won't accuse them of lurking and using it as evidence that they're scum.

I've seen non-scum try to get players to post, I've just never seen them say we should lynch lurkers right off the bat. In every game of Mafia I've played thus far, the person who led the charge against lurkers in the first day or two turned out to be Mafia.

Yes, but just because it happens in every other game doesn't mean it WON'T happen here. I'm just talking about what USUALLY happens. There's a first time for everything, and this could be the first time non-scum has tried to get lurkers lynched based solely on lurking, or it couldn't. I'm just trying to put it out there how things normally go, that scum accuse people who aren't posting of being scum.

You did say we should try to get lurkers, and said that Mafia always lurk. So, basically, trying to get them lynched without putting your name on it for when we start killing Townies.

No. I did not. I didn't say "we" should try to get lurkers. I said that I might vote for someone if they're lurking, because no one else was acting suspicious. and I didn't say that Mafia always lurk. I said they sometimes do. See the difference? Manipulating facts like that seems bad to me.
