Except that its not really any more technically correct to refer to birds as avian-dinosaurs than it is to refer to, say, frogs as terra-pisces, especially considering that the term dinosaur itself is a technically incorrect anachronism.

I just know the term is beginning to be pretty popular among paleontologist (or whatever field I'm thinking of).

Edit: Anyway, what I was saying is that it wasn't a particularly apt way of calling birds.
