I love those "Good ol' days" Lackadaisy comics. Partly because they're so entertaining, and partly because they show the characters in a slightly different context that is still (in a sense) canonical. While still being extremely entertaining.

Indeed. Riff . Big cat though.
Also anyone else read Errant Story? Cause the past two updates have been awesome. Meiji's grandpa doesn't seem to share his son's stereotypical elven sociopathic jerkass apathy. Also it seems diplomatic immunity doesn't protect you from having your face exploded by magic. Edit: Huh, thought that was her grandpa on the elven side. Looks like he's her maternal human one. Still always cool to see elf's get set on fire though. Arrogant bastards.

I don't read many webcomics.
Megatokyo Still need to catch up on this but last time I checked it was boring as I dont know what. Im reading the beginning strips now. Something Positive I used to read this alot years ago. Sinfest My current favorite, next to 8-Bit Theatre Sore Thumbs I'm just getting into this but it seems cool. I think I'm still getting over RPGWorld abruptly ending. That used to be my favorite years ago. And you know another one I loved? River City High. Where'd that go? I can't even read old strips, it just completely vanished off the internet. Megatokyo remains the one and only webcomic I have given up on. Might be time to try a re-read though. . .
(I'm also boycotting PvP, but that's because Scott Kurtz' soul is an empty hole and it scares me.) Anyway, the reason I wanted to post in this thread: DOOM! The comic is apparently published online for free now, so that makes it a webcomic. And it's sixteen pages of pure poetry. A transcendent, glowing, harmonious symphony of brutality. I'm crying fucking tears of joy as I read it. Seriously.

I think Megatokyo went wrong when Largo left. I seem to recall reading years ago that the comic was a joint effort with Piro and Largo. I forgot their real names, but then Largo left and to me it's never been the same. For one thing it's entirely too serious. A comic set in Japan with a bunch of gamers, IMHO, should be anything but serious. But that's last time I read, it's been awhile.
Out There Anyone read this? I was going to try to pick it up and it seems they have ads on just about every webcomic I read. |
