TDK, youre right about the crack on buildings, and yes, Crack of the sky play quite nice music as Ive listened a bit.

Savage Thinking - Hah great. It looks pretty accurate.

Fortune Zero - Those evil bears are scary. Neat style though!

TDK - Very cool, I liek the cracks in the sky. I think it would look cooler if you made it follow the sky and not crack in front of the buildings, but you already know that. It looks good though. I really like the background, how did you do that?

I've been playing Rock Band lately.

A fake CD cover of my friends and I's band from Rock Band, Hail The Pale.

Hey CJ, lemme ask a quick question:

Did you only draw the whole face and then only take half, or just draw half the face?

Because if I were to mirror and flip some of those, they'd have really wide faces and/or necks. It's always nice to draw the whole face, if only just to get the proportions and stuff as it's needed. Of course, everyone get's lazy, so even if there's a lack of detail, it helps. I mean, even if it's something as simple as using rulers in Photoshop. Oh, and a couple of quick things (from left to right):

First one: Has a giraffe neck and nose and mouth are too low. Eyes too spread apart.
Second one: Lack of eyebrows on purpose? Mouth seems to low as well. Eyes too spread apart.
Third one: Nose is too high. Same with the eyes.
Fourth one: This'n is my favorite. Love the lips.

Just half the faces. They started out as just sketches in the margin of my notebook for class. XD

I took them and flipped them just now, but the only one that I see that would be too wide was the 3rd one:

Not that I'm saying you're wrong or anything, but I'm having trouble seeing it. But you're probably right as far as the proportions being off.

Actually, the neck ends a lot earlier, it's just that her hair is covering her shoulders, which, I do realize makes her look like she has a giraffe neck, so I need to figure out something with that. Her face was giving me problems as far as the nose and mouth. She was supposed to kind of be looking down, but it turned out kind of wonky.

Actually I just forgot the eyebrows. I originally drew her hair differently so you couldn't see the eyebrows, but then when I changed it for the lineart I forgot to add them.

Nah, you're right about the wide thing. It's early and my eyes are playing tricks on me.

Ah yeah, the problem I've had with that is because her shirt doesn't start until quite aways down.

Hah awesome! I'm glad I inspired something. I always wondered why more people didn't draw their bands from Rock Band. I like your drunk guys sittign on a bed. Although you're missing either a guitar or a bass. D=

CJ that's awesome and hilarious...HAIL THE PALE!

Aside from what ST said I don't have much to add, but to answer your question I actually just blurred and smudged a picture I found on google, and added some basic shapes with the pencil tool and blended the outlines into the background.

The cracks I did with the line tool and the drop shadow layer thing...There's a white layer underneath the background. For making it look cracked (the drop shadow, mostly) I found a tutorial. Tutorials are fun. =D
