I believe the Global warming theory a little. I actually hope it will work. Usually Estonia is warm on the summer and cold in the winter. This year it was like this: we had an ozone hole above us, so that summer was about 95 or 90 by fahrenhite (I think, because we use Celsius). Now it's cold and everywhere is covered with one to two inches of snow and the slobby thing you get, when snow partly melts and is mixed with evil gasses. If things go on like this, we might have summers like in Miami. Before the iceage comes ofcourse.
P.P. Meister, did you know, that Germany owned Estonia in the 14.-16. century. Last edited by cruelty13; 01-05-2004 at 02:15 PM. |

I didn't, and to be honest, I fail to see the relevance to my daily life, but thanks anyway, you never know when you can use information of that kind. Come the next boring party with nothing to talk about... I shall break the ice with witty talk about the 14.-16. century relations between Germany and Estonia. |

For our non-german speaking friends, she basically said 'What an idea! But I wouldn't do it if I were you. Most people find it boring.' I'm not 100% sure on the first part... but I think I got the rest mostly right. And he said that "You never quit learning." Roughly. In the future would you two speak english, so that I don't have to exercise my vast knowledge of everything?
Now, I'm going to go and play in my feet of snow, until this topic gets back... on... topic. Yah.

Bah. You get snow, and we get a melting pile of white stuff. Question: How does snow melt at -3 degrees?

Our snow is all like, "Blarg, I'm here, and I'm coming in large enough quantities to make you miserable, but not enough to give you a snow day. Muahhahahahaha!" So we're all like, "Well shit, this sucks." And then we get frostbite and stop whining because we can't feel our faces. If God loved us, he wouldn't have stuck us in Michigan. But hey, at least it's not Minnesota. And to answer your question, magic. The Midwest has this unique weather system that seems to delight in making its residents miserable. It's cold when it's supposed to be warm, and warm when it's supposed to be cold, and when we finally get used to it being warm, it dumps 2 feet of snow on everything. So yeah.

You lucky people. We have some more snow now. Just about enough to get is stuck in the soles of my boots. And then it is uncomfortable to walk.
