She's a total bitch all she ever did was blame BB for her own failurs. Like when she was dumb enough to buy an air ship form Akbar and blamed BB for not flapping his wings fast enough, or when she made him swim all the way across the Aldi Sea while she sat on her ass, or when she blamed him for not being able to fight off a group of giant spiders. Plus she hoplessly holds on to her faith in a religion she knows personally to be fake.

I agree with DJ starchild: why critic someone's work before he does it?Come on, you would'nt tell you're favorite singer or musician hoe to sind or play music, would you? Unless he'd really suck, but then why would you be listening to him in the first place?Anyway...
Just wait, I'm sure Brian has some good material for us in store, you guys should'nt worry for what BM is going to look like...have faith in Brian, because He is our GOD....Amen. |

I don't suppose it's occurred to any of you people here that Brian gave Black Mage's "class change" that appearance for a reason? He can't very well change him into a Black Wizard, which, in Final Fantasy, has his hood back and you can clearly see his face. Which totally defeats the whole persona of Black Mage. So, Brian chose to do the next best thing, which was turn him into a Time Mage (or Time/Space Mage).

By doing this, he can keep Black Mage's face hidden. Granted, it looks corny, but it has a purpose. Of course, Brian may have done this accidentally, in which case, feel free to totally disregard what I just said. |

Actually in FF3 and 5 the half-moon hat belonged to Warlocks and Black Mages, respectively; Time Mages in FF5 have a plain pointed and brimless hat. Maybe that's a description of Time Mages from another game?
Of course that doesn't mean Black Mage won't become a Time Mage. And while we're on the subject, we don't technically know whether Brian is going to use the Warlock sprite. Misleading readers isn't unheard of around here. (Or did he state it somewhere and I missed it?) |

Well, that information I quoted was from Wikipedia, and it referenced Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Advance.

http://www.rpgamer.com/games/ff/fft/...s/timesorc.jpg You can clearly see their faces. I couldn't find a decent screenshot, but they look largely the same in the game. Ditto w/ Advance. I haven't played FF5 yet, so I can't comment there. It's next on my list though, honest!
