"Well, Rei," she turned to look at the help-seeking hologram, "I can pass though my dimensional boundaries well enough, but I'm afraid I've never been too savvy with machinery that does such a thing. I suppose I could help you move contestants out of their respective pocket universes, but I'd have to finish my fight first, because I can't just leave my poor brother un-brutally beaten, otherwise I'd never live it down."
She then looked at Cat, "I guess he could help you. He's surprisingly powerful." Mesden scritched behind Cat's ears, "I enjoy minion and minion esque entities far too much." |

"It might be best if I told you away from Hawk. The knowledge could kill him and I haven't gotten around to finding any other potential emergency food supplies."
At the sound of his name Hawk looked over. "Arhra, just what the heck are you talking about, and come to think of it what the hell are you even doing her-arrrhhhhhh!!" A massive blast of electrical energy zapped through him as he spoke and he was flung rougthly against the wall. It was also at this point that an alarm began to sound from Hawks Timelink device and a calm female voice emanated from it. "Warning, warning, level five time anomaly in progress, multiple unconfirmed reality tears detected. Severe temporal paradox in progress." It seemed to be responding to the arrival of a third Arhra and also seemed to finally be picking up the merging bubble universes' that had formed, inside one of which an unauthorised time tunnel seemed to have sprung up. The universe was currently in very bad shape. Of course, Hawk had no way of confirming any of this, nor was there anything he could possibly do about it, sprawled as he was on the floor at the edge of the room fighting to remain conscious. "Oh what the hell have you people gone and done now?!", he asked in a rather choked voice. He then passed out from the shock.

Nikose, in his barbarian rage, had almost not noticed that his shadow had animated beside him to start swinging away.
Almost. "NEW FRIEND!" Nikose glomped his shadow, and Sunose just moaned. "You're such an idiot sometimes, Nikose." It complained. "And Lazy! Why aren't you helping the others?" "Because I'm having fun and I'm naked?" "GET UN-NAKED!" Sunose complained. "C'mon, Go over there and pick up hawk, and make Nenyel something damned useful!" He began firing shadow lightning blasts at the ice jams. "Jeez, you damned idiot." |

Keyman came back into focus in his new form, shining with a different color depending on the direction you looked at him from. On his feet were, for some reason, rollerblades. On his head, were a pair of goggles and a headset. There was probably a good reason for this.
Quote:
Keyman pressed a button on the headset and began speaking. "Hiya!" Then he noticed the weird effects in the middle of the room. He didn't have any orders on that. Keyman moved over to the wall and talked into the headset again. "What should I do about the funny looking brown puddle around the nice robot lady with the-" Keyman peered at the distortion. There wasn't any real visible effect to the distortion, but he could almost make out a tinge of... purple? Or was it grey? "-gravity effect -or maybe time, can't really tell from here- around her?"

Nikose, obeying his shadow, grabbed hawk and lunged his ass against the wall to protect them both, with Sunose close behind.

Pyros was annoyed. He had every right to be, especially since he wasn't that Pyros, or PyrosNine. His opponent had left whilst he was being attacked by losers most foul, and he sensed that the other Pyros, whose presence was a rather curious coincidence, had just been drawn too much into some sort of caricature, resulting in his defeat. He'd ask this world's Pyros what was going on, but he could sense that PYros wouldn't be in any mood to answer him for awhile.
Pyros also sensed something was really wrong. He had sought out the nearest signature of "Bruticus", as while Pyros could hack his way through dimensions, he was doing it very simply and without the refinement or knowledge that other dimension hoppers had. He presumed this was a suitable dimension upon entering it, but with the arrival of the new attackers, he could sense it was much more flimsy than any dimension he'd ever been in (3). It was as if it were only a massive bubble of finite space that was bumping into other bubbles, and the coinjoinment was leading to warping and chronological errors. For instance, an area that was apparently a copy of an earlier era was slowly being integrated into an area that was of a much later timeframe, and this led to numerous problems. For one, an icy atmosphere entering into a warm, brisk day could lead to terrible storms and flooding. Furthermore, those who wandered between them might age or de-age depending on which way they were going. It was very confusing stuff, that most of which Pyros did not even bother to focus on too much. The Potionmaster would find it suitably fascinating, but he wasn't here right now. Pyros would have to make do, and if possible, save a few people in the event this place would collapse. But would removing these people and placing them in a safe dimension endanger another dimension with a duplicate? Pyros was even more annoyed, and it showed it as cut the very floor beneath him into bits, causing the noobs who surrounded him to fall to their dooms into some icy wasteland whilst Pyros flew above their demise. Exiting the building, he returned to the field of strange produce that had plagued him twice before. Of course, it was a little different, with a large pile of candy, other eras emerging from all corners, and of course giant two headed dragon tracks. What was even more bizarre, is that there seemed to be one two headed dragon riding on the back of another two headed dragon. If Tylenol were capable of working on Pyros, he'd have taken a barrel full. Pyros flew up to those who remained on the battlefield, eager to warn them of the danger. He flew up to the one who looked an awful lot like Koyuki the dog demoness, except wearing sparkly clothes and artificially constructed. "Hello. I must tell you that you are all in grave danger." he told Sailor Phoenixbot.

"Shit, that was a whole lot closer than it should have been." IC said from atop the running bear. He had no idea why the bear had snatched him away, he just knew he was ontop of it now. He was covered in web, but a little bit of muscling had snapped most of them, all it did now was insure he wouldn't fall off the bear by accident. Whether that was good or bad was yet to be determined.
"Bear, we gotta deal with that Raiden. The tournament has been compromised if he is here, I just don't know why anyone else hasn't appeared yet." IC said ontop of the bear, starting to think on the situation. "However, I don't know if that is the Raiden I know. Thing was, I noticed he was surprised at the strength I had. Raiden's already seen it, he shouldn't be surprised." IC went on, grabbing the mod-bracelet off the top of the bear. He put it on, noticing that it was still covered in that web stuff. "I just hope your web junk isn't conductive." IC said, and started watching behind, preparing for Raiden's inevitable attack. He was also hoping the bear was more worried about Raiden than him, and that hopefully he wouldn't attack IC since IC didn't attack him. |

Incendius didn't bother to get himself out of the way of the gravity well that Rei had created. For one he didn't have any of this quite useless things called organs. For two, the only thing on his body that could be in danger of cracking (his mask) was made of a highly dense material that could withstand much greater forces then this, even if he didn't have his force shields to reinforce it. For three, well he wanted to try out something new.
With a little mental flicker Incendius sent the little blobs of jelly he had gathered before to Somewhere™ where the rest of his scavenged equipment was waiting. Now that that was done, Incendius decided to try a little experimenting. Flitting forward before the gravity became too unbearable to move, Incendius propelled himself to the largest gathering of jams in his vicinity. Incendius then proceeded to drop his body into the newly congealed mess of brown mixed jams. Reaching out mentally Incendius imprinted his mind onto the materials that composed the jams, for in this state he hoped that their individual imprints would be lessening. Les see if I can pull off a evolution. Incendius sent expectantly, he hadn't evolved for quite some time, though this was more of a material aquisition for his flexible body then a true evolution as he did twice before.

Knowing better that to ignore Rei's warning, Narc grabbed anyone in his way and got to the wall. Jimi was too stoned to care since he was a spirit and couldn't die anyway, so he just followed slowly.

Mauve looked up from her magical massacre as Rei shouted out a warning.
"Yipe!" she squeaked, seeing the gravity field begin to expand around the perky robo-girl. "Time to end the rampage and save my own behind!" Yes. Elemental magic blasts, no problem. Robot-induced increased gravity field, big problem. She ran towards the wall with the speed of a bullet, grabbing Ecurt by the arm and dragging him along with her. She may not have a camera anymore, but she still had a cameraman, and she intended to at least keep that much. They reached the wall and the supposed 'safeground.' Just to be certain, Mauve raised another magic shield. Better safe than sorry, when you're a mortal character in an NPF Avatars battle. Some of us can't respawn, sadly.
