though it was made a point even being able to get bankai is rare and as a rule such people are made captain. Ikkaku isn't because he intentionally hides it for that specific reason, and Renji isn't because he just obtained it. We do also know being strong doesn't equal bankai, see kenpachi. heck we just saw a fat man beat a far more litteral god of death without ANY zanpakto.

Though I do realize its possible, just saying I doubt it and in fact hope they dont. It says alot about these guys that they dont even need bankai to shame the other captains

This is all moot because both Rose and Love were captains. There are 4 vaizard captains, in order of seniority are Shinji, Kensei, Love, and Rose (who was incredibly new when they TBTP arc happened). To that we have four vice captains in Hiyori, Power Ranger Girl, Lisa and Tubby McMagic.

So, those four + Aizen + Gin + The fantabulous bromance duo + Old man captain + Urahara + Unohana (DON'T THINK WE'VE FORGOTTEN KISHI) amounts to 11 Bankais we haven't seen yet that we're SURE are left (Possibly add Yoruichi to that list but I think she might be a special case like the kido crew).


edit: you know I feel like a total bleach manga fanatic dork spelling this out but I don't think I've ever actually read a Bleach issue more than once and I remember all this crap pretty easily.

I have no freaking idea what just happened in the last chapter.

The shikai allows him to make blades of wind, the bankai was making sense until he started shouting colors. And then I have no idea what happened. Also, Stark is sad and I totally hope something good happens to him. But he'll probably just die

I don't think that's his Bankai. They tend to make a big deal out of those, a few pages of build up and all that, and we got no such thing.

Its just his Skihai or however you spell it.

that is one nasty little ability, tricky as it is. If he would have just kept his mouth shut this probably would have been over already. Though with his personality he seems to avoid curbstomping as much as possible

I think what I like best about Shunsui is he will take a shot at you when you are doing your pre-battle monologue, swing for your head while you're in the middle of charging your attack, stab you in the back while you're fighting two other guys, whatever, homes doesn't give a fuck.

Also his power is literally "My power does whatever the fuck it wants." Goddamn, yes.

Also also totally workin' on my Stark/Shunsui slashfic although God knows I'm not the first one to that party.

I'm not exactly sure but if you mean his use of "we" that is just because he is two souls now. So he basically says we instead of I which can get confusing at times.
