You know, White Mage, if you force a group of adventurers to pursue your goals and combat the forces of evil, even against their will and kidnapping and forcing them to do so, rather than simply doing the work yourself, you don't get to complain when they want to take credit for the one thing you actually did yourself. The one thing you wouldn't have been able to do without their actions in the first place.

I have to say, why didn't WM just make her own 4 white mage group be the heroes in the paper? Why set up some other people?
Is it just because the 4WM party 'will never work' as BM so succinctly put it, so no one would believe them?
Still, I find WM's use of deceit to be rather unlike her.
I also retain my right to complain about fire mold, regardless of where I choose to build.

My guess would be that everyone would think that four white mages could never have pulled it off.

On another note, why does Drizz'l look like he is holding his head?

Also, can we please find out what that shiny thing that Fighter has been holding onto since almost the beginning of this comic was?

I guess exactly that's the point. In a world where guys like Steve are kings, nobody would seriously believe that a group consisting of four kind-hearted people, led by a girl would be able to achieve anything. No, it'd rather be the shady, weird guys in the armor, pirate-cosplay and darkelf attire, featuring vampire-fangs.
