One Piece hasn't been mentioned in awhile

Can we still talk about One Piece in here? Because holy fuck I love this series and how did I miss this thread when it was on the first page.

Let me also say I am fucking sick of the latest arc. I feel the focus on Ace is a pain in the ass and I want more of the Strawhats, I understand that this arc is important for the tone of the next part of the series but this arc has lasted for nearly two goddamn years.

And, Tev, try again. It's crazy enough that you don't like Chopper, who is awesome, but you gave up before you could get to Brook, or even Franky. You can't understand how awesome this series is without them.

Well after this flashback we're probably gonna get a very Strawhat centric arc, possibly without Luffy, as the band gets back together so to speak.

really its been two years? well I dont think they'll do much on them getting back together, probably have a time skip. I mean some of them aren't even on the Grand Line anymore

I've been figuring for months now, "It can't be long, he's got to bring them back soon," but he is certainly taking his time with it.

I can't be sure how the return of the crew should be handled, either. I know a lot of people are particularly baffled about Sanji's particular circumstances, but I think it would be a serious copout if there wasn't a lot of character development all around, which in turn makes for some odd things to figure out with pacing. I, for one, hold hope that what we've heard about Kuma isn't true, either, because I want some explanations from that paw-handed bastard.

my money is that Kuma (whom I think I'll start calling Paw-Paw Bear in hopes some one gets the referance) is pulling a post-humorous xantos gambit. He knew full well where things were going and seeing the Straw Hats and how they acted, going against things he himself was against, he sent them to places where they would grow stronger. Since he was about to lose his free will.

though I see no reason why he'd send Luffy there, was mostly luck he's even alive.

As for the reunion, probably cover stories. One already showed Robin being rescued

It's pretty clear that Paw-Paw Bear had things in mind regarding them getting stronger at their locations. It's pretty obvious what he had in mind for a few of them, like Nami landing in the Weather land, or Franky showing up at Vegapunk's lab, but you got to wonder about some of the others, like what significance Brook has at a satanic ritual or Sanji in the island of transvestites beyond the initial lulz. And Zoro with Perona is just peculiar. The two-chapter title arcs gave us the briefest of glimpses, some more informative than others, and I'm ready to see more.

Well Sanji landed on New Kama -land, right? Sanji could possibly learn a few tricks from New Kama Kempo. I guess.

I always figured it would be some way of working around his inability to hit girls. Like next time he ends up going against someone like Kalifa instead of getting his arse kicked he crossdresses and that makes it okay for him to hit them.
