Interesting stuff. ^^
I hope the demon stuff have some alternative methods to their benefits. If I do have Renny go half demon, I don't think he'd ever want to devour bodies or souls to boost himself, or summon lesser demons... Then again, that's much later. (Of course, if Renny somehow became half-angel like Kirie, that would be neat, but AB said that wasn't an option. Ah well. *Shrug*) AB: With your lists of Kimonos with unresolved sexual tension, there is one that struck me as odd. Takano believes in utter perfection, and according to an omake you had depicting her, she said she believed she is too good for any guy. Which really only leaves Shizuka, Kirie, Tsubasa and Fujiko. Then again, it's possible she might let up on that perfection if she thinks it is holding her back or something... or if she thinks one of the guys really IS perfect. ^,^ Thanks for looking over the items I was thinking of. That gives me a overall power level for making custom items. In regards to the enforcer thing, what if the characters already have no status problems and are already fully healed? Do they still have to wait 3 turns for the rage boost? Or if they have no status problems but are injuired, do they have to wait 2 turns still? Just curious. Dibs on having Shannon as my enforcer. She and Renny are already good pals. Alternatively, Kurika or Misha to see how they go. Last edited by Menarker; 05-18-2010 at 03:06 AM. |

So it'd be, for Impact: Slayer, half-demon, full demon Would that work? |

I think AB was saying earlier that Full Demon is a super class of Demon like how Breeder is a super class of trainer. So you keep investing in Demon long enough, and you'll get ranks of Full Demon. (If my memory/intuition is correct).
Of course, nothing's stopping you from only putting ranks in Slayer and demon. Heck, I'm mostly doing the same thing, but trainer instead... although I might get one rank of pokebrid... Last edited by Menarker; 05-18-2010 at 03:14 AM. |

Right, I get it. And we can dual-class or super-class at any time. And why pokebrid? To benefit from the demon stuff?

Well, Renny isn't very much of a fighter given his age and small size, even if he might actually be damn strong for his age. (The pokemon trainer's "Trainer Attack" is currently useless at the moment for my character). Even if he boosted his fighting potential by going demon, barring some Super Technique, he probably won't be as powerful a melee fighter as Impact or perhaps Pierce or Charlotte. Pokebrid on the other hand have variety of attacks/support, since Renny could then have all the moves of one pokemon. And Renny could use fighting/steel or other physical moves as the basis of the melee attack and perhaps benefit from Psych-Up or so. He'd embrace the pokemon side of things, as opposed to Impact who shun it. ^^; Of course, that's assuming if I choose a pokemon who uses those moves, and I haven't chosen yet...
So it's like maxed ranks in Breeder, one in pokebrid for access to all moves of one pokemon, and then demon. Or something to that line. Still thinking what pokemon I would choose if any. (Wouldn't be able to choose a legendary pokemon unless I spent multiple ranks in Pokebrid.) I got a strong idea though... Last edited by Menarker; 05-18-2010 at 03:38 AM. |

Even the perfect woman can lose it, y'know?
And yes, you'll still need to wait the appropriate number of turns. Otherwise, you'd do something game-breaking like switch each other out every turn and throw out Signature Techniques like Menarker throws out a constant reminder that Lola is mine and anyone who tries to win her over's life is forfeit. Demon will be the super-class of Demon Half. The only difference between the Demon super-class and other super-classes is another sidequest. It gives you time to get to know Fujiko because I seriously don't know any other way that chick'll get formally introduced. That post was a good one that helped introduce some of the new concepts, especially about tougher Rogue Pokemon, enemy Pokesapiens (Pokemon with guns, the way it always should have been!), and Evoliths. |

Very nice... I'm not sure how to have Impact react to evoliths, and Calisto has bitterly disappointed me, seriously, get me some female masterminds, but other than that, very nice.
Oh, and one other thing I just realized: By the end of mission 4, we'll be at level 7, not 6. Does that mean we dual-class one level earlier, or do we just advance to 6th level in our chosen class (advance to master?), before dual-classing? Level 1: Beginning Level 2: After mission 1 Level 3: After mission 2 Level 4: After Renny's sidequest Level 5: After mission 3 Level 6: After Pierce's sidequest Level 7: After mission 4 And how can we justify my going demon when the rest of the characters dual-class? |

You're not getting upgraded after Pierce's sidequest, or anybody else's sidequest. I did after Renny's sidequest to kind of "complete" the classes.
As for your Demon sidequest, you get to go on a private journey with Fujiko. You could go on a private journey with Fujiko. It could all actually be done in a single post. Sexy? There might be some of that. Painful? Like you wouldn't believe. |

Oh, right. In that case, sure, that works. Though how many more missions will the RP have? I might not even get a chance to max out demon.
And wait... Quote:

I just had a thought...
The Evoliths operate by drawing upon the power of evolution stones right? Well, there are several stones in the games that alter evolution... one of them PREVENTS it, the Everstone... Would an engineer who tried to make an Evolith out of one of those effectively reverse the process and thus weaken other Evoliths on the field or so? Anyhow, it's late for me. good night. |
