Also, Blackbeard mentioned that he can't transform his body like other logia users so Haki isn't gonna affect him as much. He's used to being able to take a hit as a result and his devil fruit power helps him absorb those hits hence Haki will be greatly diminished since they're not stopping a transformation, but still hitting him.

Haki negates all powers, not just logia. Its why punches were hurting Luffy so badly.

I like Haki because it kinda says "fuck you logia users." At first, using water on Croc and Luffy naturally being Enel was interesting, but we've seen tons of Logias now. I'd hate to see every fight have to resort to some "natural weakeness" to the logia. What the hell would they use for Akainu and Aokiji? Akainu melted ice and evaporated water, and Aokiji is just light. I rather see Zoro be able to slash them than have to lock Aokiji in a room with no light and fill it with sea water or something.

Haki weakens Blackbeard a bit, since at the time he did make a big about nullifying devil fruits. But he can still grab a person and have his crew shoot them, plus all that gravity stuff. Also, fuck Blackbeard.

It is out and it's awesome that it returned.

Though this chapter wasn't as spectacular as I hoped. He didn't reveal as much as I wanted about what happened during the skip. I'm sure the next 10 chapters will cover that and will be great.

Also, they didn't show Zoro or Franky, but a color page says that Franky is now a gorilla.
