Quick warning about Shade: While it can cloak you the cloak is a tad unreliable. The cloak activates when an enemy enters a certain radius around you (not sure what that radius is, but it's relatively small). Also, if there are enemies around you, the cloak will activate at soon as its cooldown (which you can't see) is up. Also, the cloak only cloaks you. The Shade will still be visible, and enemies will be alerted by it, or shoot at it (and possibly killing it, leaving you sentinel-less for the rest of the mission). Still, it has saved me from death a few times.

But really Sentinels, with their 100k credit blueprint, are more for late-game support than something that really modifies your build.

Oh and I can't believe I complete forgot to mention this from the beginning (I guess since I have so many frames it never occurred to me). You have 4 respawns per day, per Frame. By which I mean once you get your second Frame, if you run out of respawns on your Excalibur, you will still have 4 respawns on your Mag. Also these are just the "I died and my teammates didn't revive me fast enough / was playing solo" respawns, not how many times an ally can revive you or something silly like that, so don't feel the need to hoard your respawns since you get 4 more every day.

Oh and, since DE is based in east coast Canada, respawns refill at 00:00 EST (though technicaly, EDT now since it's daylight savings time).

Good to know for both facts. The buddy-revive function is bugged though, as sometimes you don't get the prompt and thus cannot revive a guy with the X button no matter how hard you try (happened to me when trying to save someone, must be what it's like when a fellow soldier dies in your hands).

Upgrading is agonizing because I can either save some levels to fit the next good mod that I need (diversify your weapon damage types it helps) or I can just cram fusion cores into my most powerful mod every time I level the weapon/frame. And really you can get some really good power-per-slot rate going if you take the upgraded mod route. For example I may have Killing Blow be my first maxed-out mod, since I love doing charge strikes on enemies and having that much damage would let me do it effectively on the tougher enemies, but I could probably fuck the math by holding off and combining it with Pressure Point to increase the damage even further.

Right now i'm working on Sundering Strike and Organ Shatter for melee 45% extra Crit damage and 30% extra Armor piercing damage. Good to save ammo and pick apart loners.

I'm also selling all my Shotgun mods and Sentinel mods simple cause i think Sentinels will be cheaper later on, or are too far away for me to bother working on them now. And i KNOW shotguns are going to end up nerfed eventually, so i'm betting on Rifles now...

Rifle with Serration and Vital sense, 30% more Rifle damage with 20% more Crit Damage. going to be a beast!

For an alternate build for defense or infestation maps, i have a more defensive set of Mods i'm working on. Fast Deflection, Redirection, Steel Fiber.... eventually i'll be able to switch between beefy tank and glass nuke as necessary! Going to work fine when i finish building Ash...

Also... i got this mod... Streamline. 5% Warframe efficiency. Anybody knows what it actually does?

Charge Damage is separate from Melee Damage. I am 70% certain this hasn't changed with Update 7. Melee Damage (and thus the damage boosted by Pressure Point) is how much damage you do with each regular swing. Charge Damage has its own base value, which is what Killing Blow is working with, and as it says on the tin this is the damage that your charge attack does.

Danger Will Robinson addon:

Shotguns have been undergoing slight balance changes since forever. The Hek used to be absolutely, mind-boggling broken. Overpowered broken. It was more ridiculous than the Gorgon (at one point in the game almost everyone used Gorgons because that's all you needed to kill everything. This point was shortly after the Hek's first nerf). I highly doubt shotguns will get a serious nerf in the future, because DE wants all weapon types to be equally viable.

With all that said, my Hek is most likely my most powerful weapon right now thanks to some lucky mod drops, with my Gorgon in close second (woo multishot). The mods I have on my Hek: 30% Fire, Lightning, Ice, AP + 0.1 puncture + 10% crit chance + 30% crit damage + 30% damage. It's great. But really, with the right mods, I can do the same thing with a rifle and make it just as strong, or even stronger, than a shotgun, with the added bonus of being able to do all that from a safe range.

Also, Streamline should say "Warframe Power Efficiency" which reduces the cost of your powers. It is a wonderful mod.

Also, Al, if you get Reflex Coil you will be extremely happy. It increases your charge speed

The only mod I've gone and actually upgraded - since my shit isn't strong at all, I'm running around with some very basic mods and not enough rank for a lot - is Vitality.

Because 250 health is nice.

Killing Blow and Reflex Coil.

What's a gun?

I'd still kill for a Redirection to drop like, ever.

So Digital Extremes just did a livestream Q&A. Among many things they talked about Update 8 and what's in store for clans. Specifically, clans will be able to pool resources to build their own dojo, basically a custom clan hall.

And so, since I doubt anyone can come up with a better name than Super Sentai Tenno Gaiden, I have invited everyone that is already on my friend list in Warframe to join my clan so we will be ready to pool our resources and build a sweet dojo.

Does this clan require players to be color coded for conveniently visually explaining their roles?

It's not required per se. There's just zero possibility of rank advancement if you fail to adhere to proper color coordination.
