Eh, I've found that bieng afraid of 'they' or what could possbly happen is something that limits far too many people. I figure why should I be a coward and not try something new? I havent heard of, met, or talked to anyone ever who had an actual expierience of something extremely bad happening because of meeting people over the internet. The worst legitimate expierience I've heard of is girls when meeting an internet boyfriend tend to not tell guys they are hideous before they meet.

Seriously people stop watching the news, go out, and look at the world for what it is. I'm not too afraid of a psycho stalker from the internet. Also actually I have given my address, city, and zip code to people I've met online before. The ones that actually met me, or sent things to me turned out to be kickass.

Now if your into chat porn or cybering or something fucked up and then you try and meet your internet fuck buddy, then I would expect something like the imaginary 60 year old little boy molesting perverts meeting.

Btw I totally agree with Krylos first post about gamer girls bieng sexy.

people die every year listening to people like you. it may not happen to you. personally, I hope you get molested by male ex cons, to teach you a lesson. but when there are kids, 15 and under, little, stupid preteens at somepoints, (this board is not blocked by bess, and the other school netagents) it's pretty bad. set a godd example at least! if your gonna post, do it at a better board!

Nikose I'd like to say some stuff but then I'd get into a huge long dicussion and this is not the place for it. And seconed I can't read what your writeing. All your posts he go off the screen. And i can't tell what they say. It's really hard to understand you. So I will also not say more. But tell me. Is there a place where us geeky guys(god I can't belive I'm finally accepting that I'm a geek) can meet geeky girls? Cause that is a automatic "Hey, we have something in common." Actually I'd be nice to meet anygirl whos a geeky gamer. It'd be nice to know there are girls out there(that I could meet in person) that would understand something in (what do we call it?) geek langue. And to say I am not a true hardcore geek, mabye gammer but not geek. (I've never played a game of DnD in my life.) This info would be nice in a readible way.

the best place is an MSN group, if it is a safe one, or just hanging out at your local game store. I met a few ladies just standing in EB games.

But I guess your right local gaming store should work out. Or go to the local card shop, it's closer. But then again I don't do cards so that's a bad idea. Thank you. I've never been in a romantic relationship with anyone, and I blame this on two things:

1. I'm real antisocial. I don't really understand the purpose of engaging in small talk with acquaintances (if there even is one). If I barely know you, don't talk to me about bullshit; talk to me about things that actually matter. I find that people usually don't like to do this. Also, people almost never engage me in conversation, for I give off a rather dark vibe.

2. The only type of person I'd be willing to persue any kind of meaningful relationship with would have to share my open-mindedness and extreme cynicism, or at least know how to handle it. This goes for both sexual and non-sexual relationships, which is why I only have three people I would consider friends.

nice guy defense=bullshit

Its just an excuse used by those with a distinct lack of self confidence, a skewed self image. I know, I used to bring it up all the time, the truth is, nice is stupid.

Friendly, generous, honest, dedicated, exciting, romantic, decisive etc.

those are all much better alternatives to nice.

nice guys end up getting shackled down in horrible long term relationships with woman who play them like an old Fender with missing strings, namely terribly.

also, there's always that thought some of us have, that we are ugly or unnatractive in some way.

truth is, its not terribly important. Be motivated in life, become someone you want to be, sexiness is an attitude. Look at my picture in the camwhore thread, I'm none too attractive, but it doesn't stop me from getting out there and meeting interesting people.

Now for the subject of gamer chicks. I think its a wonderful thing that this particular interest, gaming, has begun to spawn its own sub sector of society. I think its cool to be able to identify with a group dedicated to imagination and ingenuity, intelligence as well.

Its been my experience that "gamer chicks" are just a more specific translation of "nerdy chicks" which is to say, they identify with a set of values and ideals that difer somewhat from the mainstream.

Dating rules remain the same, and very simple, be yourself, and hope she's doing the same. Everything else is freestyle!

hmmm, well, I hope I didn't piss anyone off, I was just blabbering really, I now return you to your regularly scheduled Packman stalker fest!
