Buddha Fett - Nice detail and shading. The sword looks pretty cool as well.
Doc ock rokc - Your style pretty cool. Blues - It kind of isn't, but it still looks pretty neat though.

So, I've been creating me some resources for Ruby and just finished up with a layout. How's it look?
Edit: Here's a red version: Edit again: Phantom said he liked the black background, but also the silver buttons. Thoughts? Really, I think I need some help deciding. I do have an idea for the red, but it's useless to me at the moment, as I don't have any other work out yet. Edit: Whoops! I guess you guys get a bonus perspective test! XD

Okay, so scaling these down to a size where it would actually let me upload them distorted them beyond comprehension, so I'll just have some links for them. These are characters from a book I'm writing. (YES, there's human characters, too, but they're not as interesting to draw.) The pictures aren't PERFECT, but in my defense, I haven't drawn anything before them in like, two years.
Okay, here's the first one. He originally had a bigger role, but then he just got scaled down to a kind of discworld-death type character. He comes to collect people's souls when they die. (Look, I KNOW I spelled shinigami wrong. Don't judge me.) http://enuocale.deviantart.com/art/A...eath-134171713 THIS one's a technically female angel who watches over the main character that you know nothing about for obvious reasons, so this explanation literally tells you less than nothing. The whole cow/eagle (and lion.) thing is from the book of Ezechiel in the Bible. http://enuocale.deviantart.com/art/N...ubim-131017147 And this one is her twin brother. (don't ask how things that don't get born can have twins. My explanation is so incoherent that you're better off without one.) The wagon wheel is ALSO a reference to Ezechiel. http://enuocale.deviantart.com/art/T...ngel-131017868 And here's both of them together. This picture TECHNICALLY has nudity in it, but it doesn't really. I mean, just in case you, y'know don't want to click on it... for that reason. They don't have genitals, because, as I got tired of explaining some time ago, being spirits, they don't LITERALLY have gender. It's just an idea. Like they say in Perelandra, if you've read that. http://enuocale.deviantart.com/art/A...wins-142551084

Kyanbu - Very cool. I like the effect in the background but I would be careful about the other lens flares on the other fairies. Still cool.
Viridis - Haha those are hilarious. Doc Ock - I quite like that guy who's all tangled up. Blue - I didn't really see the ruby as a comma, but it still looks cool. Zki - Very cool style, I really like the top one. Buddha - Very awesome! I really like the shading you did there. Enuo - Cool cool, how do you get your pictures onto the computer? A scanner or do you take digital photos of them? I'm guessing... scanner? It might help to crop them a little more so you can't see the rings of the notebook and such. :3 ALRIGHT so some nothing doodles: Major... Ocelette? (don't judge me! I thought it was amusing. And I like not listening in class.) Trying out a different style just for fun. It's Collette from Tales of Symphonia(I think) and Otacon from MGS. It was just a little something I drew for someone. Now something I really kind of like: Just was doodling on Tegaki yesterday (I don't know why I doodle there, I hate the program XD ) and this is what came out. It makes me think of a woodcut. :3

So I'm still playing with the perspective of this thing.
I'm not really happy with how he fits in there, but I'm still experimenting. I seriously need to take a closer look at older dungeon-crawlers like Eye of the Beholder and Lands of Lore again. The idea is to have a perspective that uses the bottom fourth or third or so as the next tile of ground and the vanishing point of the ground at something reasonable. I'd like it if I could show the player four tiles into the distance, so this mock-up really isn't representative of what I want. Then again, neither is the staff, but it's better for defining the lines. Actually, the staff against the same background without the trees added looks pretty good and more like what I'm going for, but then I have to wonder about how skinny to make the monsters. I'll post that in an edit. [Edit] But on to comments, since I feel bad about just posting stuff without giving any to anyone else: Doc Ock: I really like the sports guy. You have something really good going with him, and he's fun to look at, because you can guess all the things going through his head. "What the hell IS this game? Oh, shit, am I going to drop it!? God, whose idea WAS this?" The guy is clearly desperate and confused, and it's simply priceless. EnuoCale: You do wings surprisingly well! It makes it look very odd when combined with your bodies, actually. You might be better off trying for a bit more realism on them to match, because you show a lot of talent and a good sense of observation to be able to handle wings and feathers so well. It would be a total shame to do things the other way around. zkiuruse: I very much like the white rabbit. It looks a LOT like I'd expect to see in an actual Alice in Wonderland book, which is to say while it's not perfect, neither is the style of the art in those, and you've captured it quite well. CJ: The tree is amazing. I like it. Buddha: The eye on the far side seems a hair too low given the angle of his face, but that may be because of the angle of his body, which is compensating a heavy sword, but maybe a bit too much? It looks a bit off to me, but it's a good work. Kyanbu: I agree with CJ. You shouldn't cover your art with effects. The lens flares look inappropriate and like you're trying to hide mistakes in your work. Also, are those sleeve-gloves she's wearing? What are they made of? If it's metal, she needs some articulation there. While it looks very good, if it's solid material, it's just not practical. If it's some sort of flexible material, you should re-work the shoulders to take the stiff ends off of them, or make it clear the stiff parts are separate somehow. That said, it does look good.

Making it happen.

So I got bored at work and started doodling (like I usually do). Instead of throwing it out at the end of the shift (like I usually do) I figured I'd throw tonight's bounty in here instead.
I have no clue what I'm doing with guns, eyeballs, or trenchcoats from backwards angles. Does it show?
