Sollux may still be there, but Fef is gone unfortunately.

Karkat and Kanaya probably just didn't have time to react, and they don't want to get themselves killed in the process of failing. As said earlier, Eridan seems to consider them friends, so he won't take immediate action.

Plus Karkat and Terezi at least confirmed to survive up to an hour past the Critical Moment (I think? I don't really see why Karkat or Kanaya couldn't be capable of taking him down.

We don't know how powerful they became in relation to him. They might be able to take him right apart, "Science Wands" or not.

Something that I just realized is that all the trolls have all the fraymotifs.
Karkat Kanaya you are RIGHT there why not use a Blood/Space combo fraymotif come ON this is pretty much the one moment combo superattacks should be bloody used

Well, if anyone has the most obligation to deal with him right now, it's Kanaya. She's the one that armed him. And he's also shown interest in the matriorb, seeing as it's the hope of their species to continue, which is the only reason he's planning on selling out to Jack. As the resident mother grub, she has to find a way to stop him.
